About the Author Josiane Caron Santha, Occupational Therapist. Josiane received a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in 1995 from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and a second Bachelor’s degree at McGill University in Occupational Therapy (B.Sc.) in 1998. In 2004 Josiane graduated with a post professional Masters in Occupational Therapy (M.Sc.) at Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada) with a thesis targeting the development of a measuring instrument for the occupational well-being of parents of preschool children. As a pediatric occupational therapist since 1999, Josiane has conducted more than seven thousand (7000) intervention sessions for newborns, children and adolescents up to 21 years of age. In 2007 Josiane founded Ergothérapie Les Mille-Pattes, a clinic renowned for helping children with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential. Following a strong passion for working with children developing within the autism spectrum, Josiane now dedicates her clinical practice to this clientele. In addition to her clinical work as an occupational therapist, Josiane is a published author and public speaker, contributing to many articles per year on different platforms and multiple professional engagements.
