What glue or tape will attach this steel guard to a plastered edge

Super glue ,strips of double sided tape ,or no nails adhesive.

can it be used to protect a door sill

Yes, but it is quite wide and you may need to trim the door to fit it on.

Are they pre drilled? Can they be fixed to a wooden door corner?

They are not pre drilled, can’t think of any reason why they couldn’t be fitted to a door corner if there’s room.
