I was disappointed to find out that my beloved Tombow markers were not permanent so I looked for a pigment based brush pen. After much searching and reading reviews, I found this brand of pens. I hate spending a lot of money on pens (as I have way too many to begin with) so I wanted to try a small set with colors I would use more often than not in my journal. I was glad to find this as the colors met my needs. I love the ice blue and the grey that is included as they are lighter colors, not overpowering like most of the other colors in the set. The ink flows smoothly and I like the quality of the brush part of the pen. Because I was impressed with this set, I have bought some individual pens when I am near one of the big chain art stores. My needs are simple so I do not need a lot of colors.

I thought I would buy a smaller package of these Pitt pens before investing in a large amount. Boy was I surprised. No smuggling dries fast and beautiful color. It is there to stay. Will not blend so keep that in mind. I am so glad I purchased this and will getting more.

I'm happy with this product. I waited awhile before buying it and then there was a slight delay in receiving it but it all worked out in the end. I will purchase again.

This is the 2nd 6-pack of this style and brand that I've purchased. The first was earth colors and these were good quality and long lasting. This pastel set is similar quality. Having problems using the lift blue on white paper backgrounds as it is so very light that I cannot identify the color on the white page.

I use these for coloring books. I have four or five of the 6-pen packs, and together they provide a great range, if a bit heavy in blues, yellows, browns, and greys. I'm obviously not an artist, and my experience with pens is rather limited, but I absolutely love using these pens. When used with a light stroke they feel like a small paint brush, and they can be used for quite delicate work.Some key things to note:The ink dries in a couple of seconds, and this is probably partly why I can't fill areas without leaving lines. The other factor is lack of skill I guess.Inconsistent tips. Most are very sharp, but maybe 20% were slightly frayed when new. This is annoying and those can't be used for fine work.

I was so glad to find this set on Amazon, it was quite pricey on other sites. This set features soft colors. They are great for smaller lettering just like other Pitt artist brush pens. I expected nothing less from Faber-Castell.

These are my favorite brush pens for hand lettering! The tip is the perfect size and flexibility for me (I have about a year of experience). However, the colors are EXTREMELY pale and pastel, so I can barely see many of the colors.

Even though they are pastel, I expected them to be a bit brighter than water color colors.

Love the colours

The colours are so soft and bright. The 6 colors shades are Lighter yellow gleze...104, pink madder Lake129, lilac 239 ,ice blue 148 ,cold gray 1 230 ,light phthalo green 162. The formula lets you build up the colous with leaving blending lines which is a usual problem in case of other pens or markers.

Muy buen producto, nunca los habia probado y me anime a comprarlos por las buenas opiniones q he escuchado sobre ellos. Me han encando, estan geniales ya que no transparentan la hoja. Repetire con mas colores.

The colors are nice and "pastel" enough. The nib/tip of the faber castle pens aren't soft enough for colouring (unlike camlin brush pens), but they are just perfect for sketching and line-details/drawing.
