SCP Foundation: Iris Through the Looking-Glass (Light Novel) Vol. 1

If you're an SCP puritan, I can definitely see how some might feel this reads like a fanfic at least initially. However, this book did really grew on me at the end. Looking forward to more for sure.

It was an interesting style for going into the popular SCP foundation. Seen too many books just copy and pasting the information from the website. This had an actual story focusing on a scp and shows off other scps.

I bought this book for my 12 yr old son a while back. He does not read much but really enjoyed this book. According to him it was a great story line and he said it deserves 5 stars. He said there should be a part 2 this book.

Not strong on plot, and with an episodic structure, this still manages to be a pretty fun breezy read! The characters carry this, and while never super deep, you still want to follow them and see what they're going to get into. One chapter goes in hard on the horror, and does it pretty well, so much so that you're sad it doesn't come up again really. However, I was left definitely wanting to read more of this universe and from this writer. I'd recommend!

I bought the book at a bookstore and can greatly say that I was invested in the characters and the personal dynamics of the main characters. While I am not familiar with the SPC verse, I have to assume the lack of action and suspense other than one chapter might be off-putting to some people, but the relationship between the two main characters was what captivated my attention. 10/10 read with a happy end.

As of someone who is familiar with the SCP universe, i like this book. Yeah, it doesnt have all the serious super official and gray atmosphere but it can offer something more. After i ened the book i felt a bit sadness but also warm and optimistic.i wiil wait more books like this in the future!

The vast SCP universe complied of authors is amazing in every right. This novel gives a nice story while showing the horrors of the universe the characters are in. yet gives us moments that make us say "aw that's cute".

it was a very good book with a lot of mystery.But I wish if they make more volumes of this book and more cute scenes with Iris.

It was pretty good, and if you're not really accustomed to the SCP univers I think it's a good way in.On the other hand if you're already a SCP fan you may be disappointed by how mondain the story is, it's not bad and it respect the univers, but it's a bit too lighthearted and most of the book lack the cosmic horror (or just horror) aspect so common in SCP tales.Overall it's still an interesting read and if you like Dr Bright you should probably give it a try.
