Not Traditional
Don't let the tital fool you. This book mentions theologies as reliable sources who have very modern and probdlematic views of the faith, like Conar and Rahner. It also seems to hold the view that Vatican II is the new starting point for the Church. therefore the view that is gives I didn't feel was trustworthy to expound on the Tradition of the Catholic Parish without putting the Tradition in a bad light.

I really enjoyed reading this book
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was up to James Coriden's usual high standards giving a grounding for canon law in parish life; reminding all, especially us canon lawyers, that the law serves the people - not the other way around.

Good guide
Great book and easy to read. Based on American parishes but the principles can be applied anywhere. Shame it is not on kindle but reasonably priced and affordable.I am a mature student and can only grab an hour or so reading a day and this book has been easy to study.
