Dr. Martens Women's 1460 Re-Invented 8 Eye Lace Up Boot

I can never have too many pairs of Dr Martens but I noticed all of my boots were black. so, I've been trying to expand on that and I took a leap and bought these...what a contrast to my wardrobe but a nice addition! They felt comfortable right out of the box. Maybe a little stiff but nothing to worry about. I have a pair of the patent leather boots and those were the only ones that felt like they needed a bit of time to break in. these were pretty good from the start. I read another review that said she put pink laces on these. I thought "what a cute idea" so, I ordered pink laces to try that out. I can't wait to get them in the mail.. Then I was thinking....all of those black boots I have....I can actually interchange colorful laces on them to spice them up ...what a neat idea! If you are familiar with Dr. Martens....these are just as good. the color is true to the picture and I'm surprised with how many things I can actually wear these with. I love making a statement with my Dr. Marten boots! I want them in all colors now!

So as I write this review please remember these are doc martens!! You have to break them in!! These are absolutely beautiful boots and, amazing quality. I haven't worn mine too much yet as I don't want to ruin them with rock salt. But these go perfect with everything and I know I'm going to be wearing them all the time!!

Perfect!! I already knew my size in docs, so I got the 8 as usual. I was actually surprised at how well they fit the moment I put them on. I've worn them on multiple occasions for 6+ hours, walking and standing most of the time, and haven't felt any pain. Which was surprising because my first pair of dms were a pain to break in. So far, I haven't had any trouble with these and I think it's safe to say that I've worn them enough times to know they are well on the way to breaking in nicely. I feel really confident when I wear them and they actually go with more outfits than one would expect. These were a great edition to my closet!!

I was expecting these to be a bit wider and have to wear heavy socks. Not so, these are styled slightly narrower for a woman's foot, snug in the heel, but still roomy in the toebox. I wear a US size 6.5, and the UK 4 fits fine. They're really cute, and if you're used to wearing boots will need no break in period. I would just recommend leaving the top 2 or 3 eyelets unlaced if you drive so that the top of the boot doesn't bruise the back of your leg.

Needed some good boots for work. These are excellent quality, real leather smell. It was an experience just opening the box! I absolutely love the look of them and they are super comfortable(they do need to be broken in!) I’m in love!

Since there are no half sizes I always have to choose between a 8 or 9. 8 cuts my feet over the toe box, but I can put insoleso in the 9s. They're still a little sloshy, but Dr martens are just that way. On the bright side, they're hella cute!

Die Schuhe wurden recht schnell geliefert.Ich habe zuvor in einem Schuhladen ein paar Dr. Martens anprobiert, weil ich nicht wusste, welche Größe ich benötige. Dort war es das selbe Modell (allerdings mit einem anderen Muster). 42 sollte es sein.Als ich den Schuh ausgepackt habe, fiel mir sofort die ordentliche Verarbeitung auf! Großes Lob. :-)Allerdings war der Schuh VIEL zu klein! Es war aber eine 42 - wie bestellt.Nun ja, das Zurücksenden ging problemlos und den Schuh habe ich woanders passend gefunden!

Das wäre jetzt mein drittes Paar Dr. Martens gewesen, wenn ich die Schuhe behalten hätte. Von der Optik her fand ich den Schuh ganz gut, auch wenn das Leder ein wenig ausgesehen hat, als ob es Kunstleder gewesen wäre. Die Kombination aus dem Leder in der Farbe purple mit der Naht in Gelb an der Sohle hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Allerdings hat mich die Qualität des Leders nicht wirklich überzeugt und auch oben am Schaft hätte mir einen Abschluss gewünscht, der besser verarbeitet ist. Ok, man zieht zwar in Schuhe der Art zwar wohl dicke/lange Socken an, aber ich hatte den Eindruck, dass hier trotzdem ein Scheuern vorprogrammiert ist. Nachdem auch innen kein Futter vorhanden ist, halte ich es auch für möglich, dass zu einem Abfärben kommt.Was aber letztendlich entscheidend war dafür, dass ich den Schuh wieder zurück gesendet habe, war die Tatsache, dass die Nähte bereits beim Anprobieren schmerzhaft gedrückt haben, obwohl der Schuh die richtige Größe hatte.

Elles sont trop raides et hautes. J'ai voulu essayé les Doc Martens et c'est raté. C'est très difficile de marché avec. La tige est très rigide. Je les ai renvoyées. Dommage la couleur est très sympa.
