I burnt something in the microwave (bad enough that there was no way to get the smell out) and the black, noxious rolling smoke that came out of it was horrible. The whole house smelled like there had been a house fire.I tried airing out the house with fans, exhausts and open door (had to turn the heat off! 🥶), washing hard surfaces and soft (eg blankets and pet beds), spraying Febreze including on the furnace air filter, putting air fresheners in every room, and putting out plates of baking soda. Nothing alleviated the smell at all. And it was nasty!!I sprayed this in the air in every room and on/under the cabinets where the microwave had been. It immediately smelled better. The next day I still smelled a slightly burnt odor in the kitchen so sprayed the cabinet doors and counter and walls (tile and wall paper) where the disaster occurred. The cabinets are wooden and it didn’t harm them or the washable wall paper. I no longer smell the smoke.If this spray can deal with my issue (I had to buy a new microwave), it can eliminate any odor.The most important things to me after eliminating odors: getting something that is scent free bc i am super super sensitive to smells (like others mentioned, it has a very slight bleach odor.) and it’s safe for pets. My two cats weren’t fazed by me spraying it like I was hosing down the house.I’m getting more to use in the litter room and for any other unwanted smell, large or small. No more room deodorizers or stinky sprays like Febreze for me!One con: the spray bottle is useless. It only came out as a strong stream. I put it in another spray bottle and I was good to go. Many reviewers mentioned this and I think the manufacturer should either improve the spray top or just sell it in a bottle so you know you have to buy your own sprayer.UPDATE: I found that if used frequently it leaves a slight film on things (counters, floors, bathtub, etc). It’s easily removed with a weak solution of vinegar and water. This does not deter me! I still think it’s the best odor neutralizer there is and I’ve ordered more to have in multiple locations (don’t forget to get decent bottles).UPDATE 2: I got an atomizer and used it instead of a regular spray bottle and I prefer the fine spray which doesn’t leave as much residue.

I was skeptical at first, but Zero Odor really does a fantastic job. It doesn’t just mask smells other sprays: it actually obliterates them. I use it often in our kitchen (particularly after cooking), the bathroom, and freshen up our sofa and bed mattresses every so often with it. It clears the air fast and leaves no overpowering scent behind—just a clean slate.I really appreciate the temporary scent. It’s subtle, pleasant, and disappears quickly. And knowing it’s free of bleach or harsh chemicals gives me peace of mind using it around our pets. I always keep a bottle in the cupboard now, and reach for it every few days. Can't recommend it more, especially if you have pets!

Seems to work well to suppress and/or destroy odors. A light misting above an odor source or throughout the room is all that's necessary. I will say however, the spray itself is not odorless as there is definitely a bleach-like smell to it. It's not strong, but it's not unnoticeable. I thought it would be a good idea to spray a light mist over a mattress while I washed the sheets and comforter, and even after letting it sit for 6+ hours, it still had that smell. That said, I'm not sure how they can claim right there on the bottle that it is odorless, but it is fading, so, that's something.

This really works!!!! I’ve used it on musty wood cabinets, a very small, old, smelly closet that kept men’s work boots for years with carpet on the floor from 1969, it smelled like sweaty stinky dirt and the spray worked! I had to spray these places 2 times but now, you’d never know they smelled at all! On normal odors once has been enough to eliminate the odors. I highly recommend! I’ve used it throughout the whole house and it’s worked great! Il bought the small spray bottle the first time and then I went back and bought the gallon because now I use it all the time.

Expensive for Size.. No smell at all. Does eliminate Odors..Found a better Odor Remover at Walmart!

As someone who hates the chemical smell of most deodorizers, I'm thrilled that I found this and more importantly I'm thrilled that it actually works! A short squirt in the air eliminates odor leaving a very subtle scent reminiscent of fresh air with a touch of ozone. A little goes a long way. Highly recommended!

For anyone looking to literally make odors disappear, look no further. A little goes a long way. You don't get that awful and strong smelling issue with this product. Most odor control products are expensive, don't take the odors away and usually leave a very strong and unpleasant aroma. This product is affordable and does exactly what it states---it removes odors, not just covers them up.

I used Zero Odor in a car that I bought and even though it was washed and cleaned inside, it was still smelling cigarette smoke. After a few sprays and a few minutes, there was no more smell.
