Not that I am any expert on shaving soap, but I can say that out of the soaps and creams that I have in my rotation (somewhere between 20-30), this is by far my least favorite.I bought it a year ago because the reviews were fairly decent and the price wasn't bad at all. The first shave was just awful, but I didn't want to rush to judgment on the soap, so I blamed it on the amount of water I used to lather. The next time it came up in the rotation, I used less water and still did not get a great shave. Still, I figured I paid for it, so I was going to keep trying it. It has now been a year and I shaved with it again this morning. I think it is fair to say that I have honestly given this soap a chance, but now it's going in the garbage, where it should've gone after the first time I used it. It doesn't smell great, the lather is awful - AND BROWN - and my face is just not smooth like it usually is after I shave. (I just changed blades in my razor, so I know it's not that.) I think hand soap would do a better job.

Definitely smells stronger in the box than when lathered and applied. Produces a nice lather and holds up well. Only used a few times, so far, but liking it. If my opinion changes one way or the other, I'll update my review. As for making 'blades' last longer, I use a double edged safety razor....and after 3 shaves the blades still feels like new.

Nothing wrong with this product but not exciting enough to make it my go to shave soap in the future. Lather is OK but not exceptional. Purchased to see if a goat milk ingredient made any differences in how the skin's feels while wet shaving. Did not pick up any differences that can be reviewed here.

Like the lathering of the soap. Nice feel on the face and scent is good.

It’s hard to generate leather, quality wise it looks good, but as I mentioned it’s not a shaving soap of my liking, may be I will use it as bath soap

Second reorder for my husband. He likes the lather and close shave he gets with this product. Also that it is pure and organic.......skin feels really smooth. Will keep reordering.
