I Am Maru

I loved everything about this book, the narrative of Maru and his early life when he was a kitten.Maru has over 325 million followers on YouTube. He has won the Guinness Award for most followed fur baby on the internet. He is beyond adorable and he is smart and full of mischief. The author provided a bonus for all readers; the book cover can be unfolded to become an adorable Maru poster. This book would make a great gift for young and older cat admirers.

My wife and I really enjoy watching Maru and all his antics on YouTube. This is very enjoyable book with lots of pictures of the Scottish Fold throughout the years - 13 years now! If you are a fan of Maru, I highly recommend this book. I hope one day the owner/author will write another book and include Hana in it as well.

Wonderful pictures, but there are problems with the kindle version...the full book is only visible when holding the kindle in landscape mode. When holding it in portrait viewing position, a fair number of pages appear to be blankThe other problem is with the video segments attached towards the end of the book. I was unable to get ANY of them to play on my kindle. I've seen some of them online and they're so cute, but the attached videos with the kindle edition are very disappointing.Amazon, please clean up the kindle version or release an updated version that actually plays the embedded videos, please?

I'm a big fan of Maru and how could you not be if you have seen his many youtube videos. He's just hilarious with his box fetish and how he thinks he can fit into any size box. He is more than willing and appears to enjoy posing for any photo opportunity. His round little face is just adorable. Every time I see him on a video it makes me smile and you just gotta love the outfits he sometimes is in such as his rain coat with hood when he was walking around in the snow. Although the book couldn't compare to what are on youtube videos, the photos in the book are top notch. Thank you to mugumogu.

Any cat lover will love this! My ONLY criticism is that the book is extremely difficult to see on my phone Kindle app. However, I enjoyed relaxing and giggling. If it is possible to view videos enclosed, i was unable to figure it out. Very worthwhile anyway. 🐈

When you don't have internet or don't want to use your data watching YouTube videos, this book is there to cheer you up, make you smile and forget that the world is full of horrible people. Maru will renew your faith in life.

I love this kitty! Im so glad to have his book to read with my kids! We watch his youtube vids together all the time!

This book is a genuine treasure. She is a brilliant photographer. Maru was already a star. Cats are notoriously uncooperative when it comes to having their pictures taken so to get this many perfect shots there has to be a lot of bad ones. I have looked at it many time so far & will look at it many times more. Most definitely worth the price.

My two younger sons LOVE Maru, the famous Japanese Box Cat. This book is so cute and presented in the same, unhurried and relaxing style as the YouTube videos themselves. Lovely to sit and look through. An absolute MUST for the Maru Fan.

I brought this as a present for somebody and although I haven't read it properly, I had a quick flick through. The person I brought this for is a fan of Maru's and has been watching online for a few months. This book has so many amazingly cute pictures from kittenhood through to adulthood. Lots of information and even a little description of his personality. I think this is a great buy for any Maru fans out there :D

A perfect present for any cat-lover! As a fan of the videos this is the perfect addition with lots of ridiculously cute high quality photos.I must admit, I'm not a cat person *gasp*, but Maru is just impossible not to love!

First discovered this nutty cat on Youtube and then took it from there. What a lovely cat and what a lovely book. Ideal for a gift really for a cat lover.

Great product, prompt delivery. Unfortunately the paper cover of the book was a little ripped at the bottom when it arrived - not sure if it was already damaged or was ripped in the process. Otherwise - a very cute and unique Xmas gift.
