Alvita Organic Elder Flower Tea Bags, 24 Count

The Elder Flower tea is pretty good. I originally got it for it's health benefits and I enjoy tea. It pretty much taste like your standard herbal flowery tea to me. Elder flower is suppose to be the oldest herb cultivated by man. It's suppose to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and to be good for cold, sinus issues, respiratory issues, diuretic and immune system boost. Hey I'm not a doctor or a fancy herbalist so what do I know. Sounds good so why not, get a good tasting tea and feel better about life. The box says its good respiratory system. The bags don't have strings on them...what's that about? Overall so far I'm happy with the tea, I've had 3 cups already. Though I did read somewhere that you shouldn't drink too much of it. After drinking it I felt fine but kind of like how you feel when you take a dose of meds. A tiny bit different, maybe because it was working, who knows. It's tasty enough, I'll keep drinking.

Exactly the tea I was expecting. Boxes came in excellent and sealed condition. The flavor is light but enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the health benefits. :)

I have been using this brand over a decade. The local store I purchased my tea closed. Thankfully, I found it on Amazon.

Very nice if your tummy is upset, especially and it's also just nice to sip. I add a little elderberry syrup to mine. It makes it really nice.

I have no way of discerning if this tea makes a difference or not.Hard to find in the grocery stores though.

It was not what I was expecting - it's probably what it is supposed to be but I don't truly know. I thought it would be bright and flowery, but it just had a light bland earthy flavor; that was it. It didn't have any bouquet or anything. I ended up getting the d'Arbo Elderflower syrup - now THAT is the taste I was looking for!! So I will go above the middle and give this tea 4 stars because it arrived fast.

Wonderful flavor in packaging that preserves the taste. I added just a touch of honey (delicious without it as well) and it was a bliss in a tea cup. I used a single bag twice, as it is a bit pricey, and the second cup was pretty decent.

I tend to lean towards natural remedies when I catch a bug. This tea really helps clear my congestion.
