Bought 2 books very different quality.
I bought 2 books at the same time but they were very different quality. When I received the second book I looked back to see if I bought a used one. The second book came water damaged with the pages stuck together. It was still readable just disappointed in the quality of a new book.

Kindergartner Read and Retained Information
I had my son read this out loud to the family as part of his homeschool kindergartner work. Then, at the end of summer, before first grade, I asked him who the first president of the U.S. was. He said, "George Washington. Remember? I read you a book about him last year."I feel like we got 10 times our money's worth put of this tiny book on George Washington.

dry
bought this for our 4-year-old daughter. We've been reading to her about real life heroes, and sometimes she gets really into the stories, but this is too simple and boring for her. No real story. Just facts. Not sure what age it's targeting b/c it's too dry for preschoolers but too simple for older kids. Maybe okay for the 6-8 range.

Little ones introduction to George Washington
An excellent introduction to George Washington for young children, both for those who look at the pictures and those being read to. What a good way to introduce the little ones to our history.

Skip this dry, boring, overly santitized children's book
This is an overly simplified, dry, and boring book about one of the most complex, fascinating characters in American history. Skip this.
