An all time favorite of my children and students! Humorous and tender poems with magnificent illustrations. I have purchased dozens of copies to replace worn out ones or to give as gifts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I got this for my mom and she loved it! We read these poems when I was a child and it brought back all the memories!The pages were in great condition, but it was the library version, so the plastic covering is a little beat up.Every poem is creative and magical, and the pictures are gorgeous!Definitely recommend if you like dragons, stunning art, and cute rhymes!

This is my favorite book of poetry. My kids were raised on it and are now gifting it to their new-parent friends. Great for ages 0-95. It features a variety of dragons, great vocabulary and illustrated rhyming poems both short & long.

This book was one of my daughter's favorite books growing up. I bought it on a whim back then and she had her grandmother read it to her every time she spent the night. I recently had to buy a book as a card for a baby shower and my daughter suggested I get it. I did and the mom to be loved it!

I was introduced to some of these poems as a young child myself but hadn't thought of them in years. When my 6 yr old asked me if dragons are real these poems immediately came back to mind. I was happy to find the book easily on Amazon and in just a couple of days was able to share these interesting poems with both my kids (6&8). The poems are quirky, beautiful and sometimes silly. I am also a fan of the extensive vocabulary (always good to expose them early). While there are many words they don't know the exact meanings of they are able to figure it out from context (and then add to their ever growing vocabulary) and overall the large words do not overwhelm the reader. The illustrations are also wonderful, fun and creative. My kids like to look at the pictures long after the poem is over.

Have this as a gift. The recipients were very excited to receive it!

This was my all time favorite book as a child. My copie was being held together from use and love by soo much packaging tape. I bought this to replace it and was excited to find it read just as good today as it did over 20yrs ago! The illustrations are mesmerizing.

Loved this book as a kid. Used to get it at the public library all the time. The drawings and stories were my favorites. I got this copy for my nephew, hope he loves it as much as I did as a child!

I liked the book, but the most important review must come from the grandchildren who thought it was ‘really good’.

Such a wonderful book for all us Dragon lovers! I bought one copy for my grandson and one for me! For we both believe in Dragons . . . don't you?
