Bats Around the Clock

I think the idea behind the book is great, however the references in the text to 1969s and 70s music and pop culture aren’t relevant to my 3 year old. He still likes the cadence of the story. So it’s okay and makes him laugh.

Purchased that’s around the clock for my two-year-old grandson has a fetish for any type of clock. He loves the time he loves animals and this book is rather lengthy which he loves because this is a bedtime story. He loves any book with multiple pages and pictures of clocks. I wish the pages we’re a little sturdier but other than that he enjoys it.If you like you can go out on YouTube and actually watch a video reads the entire story so you know what you’re buying.

I ordered this because it was recommended in a teacher magazine. Clearly I didn't look closely at the content nor the reviews on Amazon, because this is a take-off on American Band Stand era dances and the rock around the clock song. My first grade students wouldn't get it...I returned it.

This book is a great addition to a library or home collection. The pictures are hilarious. It could be used to teach time in a classroom and I have used actions to read the books to children in our library.

Some of the content references my ELL s do not understand.

The children in your class will love this around Halloween like mine did and it helped to intergrate math into my bat unit
