Google Pixel 3a XL Case, Seascape (GA00789)

It's a Google product made for the Google Pixel so it's naturally going to fit. No complaints. Not sure how well it will protect in the event the phone is dropped but it looks nice, feels premium, and protects the back from scratches. Great value for an older phone.

Pros: * Good fit * Stylish design * Interesting texture (feels like canvas?) * Standard level of phone protection (it's "knit" but it's really a normal stiff case) * All buttons work great including the squeeze sensor Cons: * I found I prefer to have the case wrap fully around the top and bottom. I realized that I used the top/bottom lip of the case to grip the phone as I pull it out of my pocket. But that's just a personal preference. * Slightly less traction in the grip than a normal plastic case, but not enough to really concern me

It's more for aesthetics, but it definitely looks professional and clean which is what I wanted in a phone case. It's different though and can be slippery at first use. Will it protect my phone like some of the bulkier cases will? Probably not. But it's sufficient protection if you take care of your devices which I plan on doing. Dropped my Pixel the 1st day and it survived. I paired mine with a ESR glass protector to give you an idea of how I'm protecting my phone. Go for this case if you care about looks above everything else. If you want an OtterBox for protection, go for it. This suits me well as a business phone case. Edit: Subtracting a star because it's already wearing a bit in the corners... Less than a week in...

I needed a new case to replace my clear Ringke for my Pixel. I saw this official Google case for a great price. I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. It clipped onto the phone nice and tightly. The edges are way stiffer than typical TPU cases. The colored power button is a nice elegant touch. The material also feels great in my hand. I wish they had a white one to match my phone, but that would be impractical for a case :) it would probably get way too dirty. For the price I paid for it around $12, I think it is a WONDERFUL case, designed to fit perfectly by Google for their phone. That being said, I would NOT get this case for the MSRP of $40 :) even thought it is quite premium, I'm just cheap.

I have never been one to buy fabric cases, either due to the fact that I thought they would get dirty easy or that they would really protect my phone- well with this Google Pixel 3A case, I was wrong on both counts. This does not get dirty easy, and I sometimes have the messiest of hands due to my job- didn't even leave a mark on the case! The Pixel 3a is very slippery so really any case is an upgrade from just using the phone with no case. This case has some serious grip for a phone case. I was very impressed with this Google product. I only hope that down the road they make a bigger variety of colors for this particular model, so I can buy more!

EDIT: It's going on a year now since I first got this case and wrote a review. Just wanted to drop it by one star due to the fact that the case is now ravelling/wearing out at the edgest. My phone has also popped out of the case a few times which defeats the purpose of having one. Definitely expected more after paying so much, but the style is unbeatable. This is a custom case by Google for their own product (Pixel 3a), so of course it's going to fit nicely and take into account the positions of the phones specialty features such as the fingerprint scanner and charging port. I didn't realize it at the time of purchase, but the case actually has its own buttons that go over the phone's buttons (unlike other cases that just have an opening there). The materials used to create this case are awesome. I love the feel of the custom knit and was pleasantly surprised by the thin faux leather interior. There are no abrupt seams anywhere on the case and the logo is well secured to the back. I removed one star due to the hefty price for this item since you can get an equally sturdy and useful case for $5. I will say that for the materials this case offers, you are definitely paying for quality. If you're looking for something stylish and unique, this is the case for you.

Buscaba una funda que le diera estilo único a mi teléfono. No imaginé que este case fuera demasiado bueno. Tiene unos acabados impresionantes de costura, se nota lo bien trabajado que está. Una vez puesto el case, no le da demasiado grosor al equipo en mano, de siente bien. Con el case puesto, mi teléfono se ve muy bien, y desde luego que le da ese estilo único, el que yo buscaba. Vale realmente la pena pagar por él. En un principio dudaba pero ahora que lo tengo desde luego que sí volvería a comprarlo. Si piensas que por el material con el que está hecho se te verá sucio luego de tiempo de uso, la respuesta es que sí, pero, eso no es problema, pues sin importar cuánto se ensucie, se puede lavar y queda como nuevo. (Genial) La única contra que le veo es que si estás buscando una funda que proteja tu teléfono ante golpes o caídas, no estás en el lugar indicado. Pues el equipo en mano te da la sensación de que se te resbala. De ahí en fuera está súper!

I love this case! Fits perfectly my Google Pixel 3A, fingerprint reader and all the buttons work great. It has a modern design and at the same time nice warm touch due to its fabric-like material. Didn't get dirty even after 6 months of daily use. Highly recommended this case!
