I ordered the small size for my medium-length, fine + straight hair and it's perfect! Holds it all up in a twist with ease. Stays secure all day, doesn't pinch or pull, and doesn't stick out so far like the jaw clips do. Highly recommended! If you have thicker hair, then a bigger size is best but if you have thin, fine hair like mine, it would probably slide out of a bigger clip.

Strongest side clip I've ever tried and comfortable to lean against, unlike most jaw clips. My only complaint is that I wish the seller would sell a mix of sizes. Six of one size is more than I can ever use given the quality and I'd like to have all sizes since they serve different purposes but I don't want to buy a set of each because it would leave so many unused clips in my drawer!

For the past 5 years I’ve been buying these clips in a fun gift shop in Oregon for $20 a piece! Grant it they have pieces of old Kimonos covering them, but the material never stayed on long. Anyway, point being, I love these clips so much that I was willing to pay $20 every time I ran out from them breaking (I’m clumsy and they are cheap plastic, they eventually break or I lose them). I’ve been trying to find these online for years, and only just now stumbled upon them.I have long thick hair, and these hold it without budging. I don’t like traditional claws because they stick out which I don’t like. These lay flat against my head.To finally find these for about $2 a piece is so exciting! If you’re looking for a way to secure a lot of long hair, this is the way to go. My hair looks so much cuter than being tied back in a messy bun every day.

I have fine straight hair a little past my shoulders, and I'm trying to grow it out long. These clips are perfect for getting my hair off my neck and out of the way. I bought size medium which works great with my hair's thickness and length. It only takes seconds to scoop up all of my hair, twist it up the back of my head like a French twist, and stick a clip in it. If I do it with slightly damp hair, I end up with lovely waves when I let it down. The plastic is sturdy and the wire springs are thick, and after a couple of weeks of daily use, the clips and the springs are still like new. The only issue is that occasionally I get a strand of hair caught in the spring, but that's rare.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and it was just exactly what I needed. My hair is long but very fine and I didn’t want anything that too large and weighed a lot when holding my hair up. It was perfect!

For the price, I am very pleased with their strength/ configuration. I can gather my fine, blond, shoulder length hair into a ponytail, twist it, flip it up and pin it to back of my head with a medium clip- no elastics, no scrunchies. Perfect for yoga class. These lie so flat that i can lay my head on the mat, no wobbling or shifting like on a ponytail or clip that sticks out.

These hair clips are amazing! My hair stays put all day. I love that I can lay down with them and it is flat. I even exercise with it and I have no problems.

These are by far my favorite hair clips. I wear them every day to work. They are so easy to use, I use them to put my hair up in a french twist.

These hair grips are strong and hold your hair well. My hair is about waist length and a medium thickness and I need 2 which is great. They look nice and the colours are lovely. The only thing is when you’re pushing them behind the twisted hair they don’t glide in but tend the catch and break the hair near the scalp. This is because the comb part isn’t pointed enough so it snags on the hair as you push it in. Otherwise great product and very reasonable.

I could never use the claw as my hair is touching my shouldera but really thick and heavy and the claw would fall unless u put so many Bobby pins where by then ur head kills. I bought this based on reviews no extra things to add just put your hair in pony tail and put this on and I'm amazed my hair stays up for the first time in years. I used the medium one I suggest if you have long thick hair the large one would be recommended. They look great the pastel colours see through ad shiny better than the pic I love the colours you won't be disappointed.

When I make a ponytail in my hand and then twist it upwards, the twist is only one inch wide and fits into the small sized clip, however the medium is better and more in keeping with my size 20 frame! The glossy finish is good. Colours in the classic multicolour sets are very deep navy, deep oxblood, cherry, cream, yellow-green and dusty orange. Ideally I’d have preferred the yellow-green to be a richer olive and instead of the dusty orange, would prefer rust. The oxblood is GORGEOUS. The clips are really comfy, robust, hold the hair well and are never in the way when your head is against a headrest as they lie flat.. Will buy another set, in a different shape and colour.

I have medium length hair,not thick,but I tend to tye it up in the summer month's.. over the year's I have used various combs and bulldog type clips..but they tend to loosen during the day and I have to keep redoing my hair..This clip, after reading reviews.. Is brilliant it doesn't move, follows the curve of your scalp, so you can rest your head back... I purchased the two clip pack.. I know the 6 was better value but I didn't need that many..Also I have the medium size.. which is perfect for medium length hair..I would only buy the large if you're hair is past your shoulder or exceptionally thick.. otherwise you have a huge clip on the back of your head...Worth the money...Oh,I also have arthritis in my hands and although the clip action is stiff,I opened it without any problems

Very strong and good quality hairclipFound medium size sufficient with shoulder long hair. I also didnt want to buy 6 clips to start with! Why is it not possible to buy a smaller ammount of the coloured ones? What would I do with 6 clips?
