Black HaloWomen's 3/4 Sleeve Jackie O Dress

Wow! This was the first item I ordered from Black Halo, and what a lovely dress! The Color is a very rich royal blue that really pops. The fabric is a very soft supple gabardine (but thick enough to hold its shape). The cut of this dress is very elegant, it highlights curves without showing too much. I'm a petite slightly pear shaped figure (just shy of 5'4 , 32-25-36) and I bought the size 2. The bottom half of the dress fit perfectly its fitted but not too snug and a good length (hit 3 or 4 inches below the knee on me, which I wanted, but means it would work for taller ladies as well), and the top was a little large for me but because of the cowl drape style still worked. The dress would work for a date night or at the office. My fiancé, who doesn't usually get worked up about clothes I buy, absolutely loved the dress on me and said I HAD to keep it. (SO high marks for any dress that can do that!) Overall I highly recommend the dress its good quality, and I'll definitely check out more items from Black Halo in the future! Great dress fitting as expected. Some reviewers said to size up, but I found that in doing this it didn’t lie flat on the back or side skirt seams. The arms are fairly tight. So, if you have larger arms this dress may not work for you. Otherwise, love the professional, slightly sexy look of the dress.

Beautiful though it maybe, this dress has zero stretch in the material and the sizing runs much smaller than usual. Had to return and would not recommend.

The dress fit perfectly in the waist and throughout the torso and hips. This provides a the wearer with a very flattering shape.

The dress was fine but the return process takes a long time to credit your account There is no reason a credit takes 30 days I will never order clothing through Amazon again!

I really loved this dress; however, the sizing is awkward. I originally ordered a size 4 (I wear a size 2 pant and XS shirt) and the bottom half fit perfectly but the top half was extremely tight. I returned it and ordered a size 6 and had the reverse effect. The top fit pretty well (noticed the left sleeve liked to slip) but the bottom half was too big.

I own another Black Halo Jackie O dress so I was aware of the size for this brand. It tends to fit small so I would recommend purchasing one size higher than your usual size. Shipping came promptly. Thank you!
