Birkenstock Women's Arizona 57583 Heels Sandals

Very good price for a quality item. Fits well and the pattern and colour are very attractive for summer (cream shiny snake). I particularly like the gold/brassy coloured buckles as previous pairs of Birkies I have purchased have had the silver coloured buckles. It's the first time I have bought the Arizona style, having bought Madrid previously, but these two strap sandals give an extra level of support if that is what you like. It's up for debate whether to opt for narrow or regular width Birkenstock Sandals. I've got pairs in both width fittings and don't find much difference between them. Unless you have what you consider to be extremely narrow or wide feet, I would say it doesn't really matter which you opt for - the adjustable buckles help enormously to ensure you achieve a good fit.

I'm really pleased with these sandals. They fit perfectly and are wonderfully comfortable. I wore them straight off, without breaking them in, and there is no sign of a blister. OK, so they are not so very stylish or flattering, and I wouldn't wear them to Ascot, but they are great for leisure wear when you just want your feet to be cool and comfortable. I rather like the snakeskin effect. They have a multi-coloured gloss finish which is a bit unusual. Would recommend.

I’m a regular size 5 and there was no available 5 ‘s left so I ordered 4.5 to see how they fitted as had read reviews stating they had got a smaller size. I was pleasantly pleased and even though it says narrow fit and (I was believing I was getting regular) on the box they fit fine . I’ve put the top strap in the last hole and the bottom strap in the second last hole. They are comfortable and the colour is very summery.

I've worn Birkenstock sandals/clogs in the summer for a few years now, and these are just as comfortable as the previous ones I've had. I don't really know what else to say about them.. I like the black glitter, it's a bit different without being too "bling". I find the ones with multiple straps more comfortable than those with just one strap, as they sit closer to the foot and don't "flap" as much with each step. I always take a size smaller than I'd usually order in Birkenstock, I am usually a 38 or size 5, but 37 or size 4 fits me perfectly. Overall, am really happy with these.

I now have a few pairs of Birkenstocks, 2 of the the scholl type (Madrid I think), the ones with 3 straps and now these. The shape of the footbed cradles my feet perfectly, they are so comfortable to wear and excellent on holiday as you can loosen the straps if your feet swell in the heat (happens to me every time then settles down after a day or two). I can walk for miles without any discomfort but don't let them get wet or get sand in them!! That's what flip flops are for. Buy them, you will love them.

I love Birkenstocks and they are such a great quality product. However I always find Birkenstock sizing difficult to fathom. I'm a UK 6.5 and decided on the size 39 (EU) in the end, as have had the size 40 (EU) before and it's too big. I think I'm ideally a 39.5 but they don't make that! So theses are a snug fit and will take some wearing in to be really comfortable. However, the colour is GORGEOUS and they arrived really quickly. I think once I've worn them in I'm going to love them and not want to take them off this summer.

I’ve had a few pairs of Arizonas, and it’s taken me a while to figure out the widths. Previously I had Regular, which was fine, but a little clumpy. My feet are pretty normal, not skinny but I’ve never had to wear wide fit shoes. Anyway, last two pairs of Arizonas were Narrow, and they look much better, they grip my feet and don’t look like boats! So unless you definitely have wide feet, the Narrow width should be OK on bare feet. The sandals were comfortable from the start, they look good, and I’m very happy with them.
