This was a replacement on our totter-home. The lights are on the outside of this trailer (we have 3 lights) and used to light the area where we park our race car in between races. They are very bright and we are able to work on our vehicle and getting it ready for our next pass. Replacing this light was easy. We are very satisfied.

Advertised for 8+ lumens and the label on the product clearly shows 6700. Extremely disappointed, actually picked this and paid 35 more. Guess that was a waste.

(UPDATE: Two years later and the 6 or so I got are still going strong, haven't had to mess with them at all) I typically get a little annoyed when I see a 5-star review and then find out the reviewer didn't actually use the product yet or they only used it for a day or two. I realize many products get a 5-star review simply for showing up on time and being as advertised, I get that, but other products should be used for a little while before a 5-star review in my opinion. So I feel a little awkward having only used this product for approximately two months, however so far I'm impressed. I had several large internally lit signs that I replaced the fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs this year. I was so impressed with that I decided to try to find an LED of comparable size that can replace 500 watt halogens I have for some locations in my parking lot. To be clear, LEDs are still so much more expensive than fluorescents or halogens and it would take ages to recoup your cost based on purchase price alone. I will admit though I did immediately see a difference in my electric bill just from the sign lights. The main reason I wanted to change was because I was sick and tired of constantly replacing light bulbs, many of which I need a lift to change. So when I factored that cost in, it made much more sense. It was tough finding an LED light not crazy expensive, to replace a 500 watt halogen light. I have some LED lights that would do it, but they were around $800 to $900 each. I also wanted to find one that I could simply plug and play with my existing electrical boxes. I simply wanted to take my existing outdoor 500 watt halogens out of the electrical boxes and put these in. Most of the cheaper LEDs come with a stupid bracket that you can't mount on an existing electrical box. Although this light is definitely quite a bit heavier than the existing 500 watt halogen light fixture, it was not too heavy for the electrical box. Most of my employees feel the light is brighter than the other 500 watt halogens, I am not so sure if it is brighter or they feel that way simply because the light it emits is definitely much whiter. Regardless it does seem to have at least the same if not more, light output than my existing 500 watt halogens. The real key is to see how long it lasts. It is very cheap to replace the halogen bulbs, it was just a safety issue when they went out, and physically a real pain to get access to where they are located on the building. The light is 100% open to the elements, rain, snow, sleet, sun, etc. Hopefully the light will last for many years, because I plan on replacing my other 500 watt halogens with them. Again the price difference is huge, from literally a few dollars for the halogens to over a hundred for this, but when you have other factors to consider also, it might make much more sense.

We are a HOA and needed to upgrade our lights for our entrance signage. The old incandescent lights were very inefficient, used high watts and bulbs needed replacement quite often. We bought these after much research and reviews on Amazon. They are very bright and our signage can be seen much better at nights. They are also well made with robust steel packaging.We are pleased with this purchase so far and would recommend these to anyone needing good bright LED's.
