Food in California Indian Culture (Classics in California Anthropology)

If you are interested in how the Native Americans thrived this is an excelent book. Food is the heart of any culture and this is a wonderful look at what it was like before the intervention. I hope some of these food ways are still being practiced. There is so much to learn from their culture.
