What a wonderful discovery! I make greeting cards (for family and friends) and had a problem with uneven glue application. This not only resulted in uneven glue spread, but curling paper. The UHU stick spreads evenly, smoothly -- and is purple as one applies the glue. Easy to see glue application and scrape off excess. The glue dries clear. I bought three sticks. A must for all paper crafters.

UHU is a good adhesive but annoying to use. Perhaps I'm using it incorrectly, but it's so messy. The blue turns clear so fast, that feature is useless, so I have a tendency to go back over areas which then causes me to get small "chunks" of glue on surface. It sticks so well, I'll probably buy again, but reluctantly.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS, THIS IS MY SECOND ORDER FROM AMAZON. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS NOT THE PRODUCT, IT'S THE COLOR. THE GLUE I SAW THE FIRST TIME WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PURPLE (MY PERSONAL FAVORITE) WHEN I RECEIVED IT WAS BLUE, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PURPLE IS ADVERTISED AND THEY SENT ME BLUE.BUT I DID NOT COMPLAIN BECAUSE I TRULY LOVE THIS BRAND. I WISH THEY HAD PURPLE BECAUSE THE BLUE WHEN IT IS KEPT FOR AWHILE TURNS WHITE IN THE TUBE, THE PURPLE NEVER DOES. . I CHOOSE PURPLE BECAUSE I USE THE GLUE ON GRAPHIC SIGNS AND I NEED TO SEE WHERE I'M PUTTING IT. I REPEAT I LOVE THE PRODUCT I HAVE TRIED ALL THE REST AND THIS ONE ALWAYS WINS HANDS DOWN. IT'S THE VERY BEST OUT HERE, IN MY OPINION. ;D

It is an UHU Glue Stick and that means it is the best product of its kind ever devised by mortal man. It might not be the ideal adhesive for EVERY situation, but when it comes to sticking one piece of paper to another, it has never been beaten.

I am a crafter and have tried every glue stick I have seen for sale--and for every purpose you can imagine. The Uhu purple sticks are the BEST EVER---they leave all other glue sticks in the dust. They have never disappointed me or the children I teach crafting to. This brand has been impossible to find for the last year or more in all the stores in the Chicago suburbs. When another company recently began coloring their sticks purple, I thought they might have purchased Uhu and bought their product--it is no good. If you want a reliable glue stick you NEVER have to worry about, get Uhu. It comes in a larger and smaller diameter, I like to have both on hand, depending on my project.

we will see how long it lasts and its blue not purple I don't think the color will effect any thing. seemed to dry clear. And seems to hold items in place
