Knok video doorbell by momentum
Audio cuts in and out. And is garbled in occasions when it works. Could not get my indoor electronic chime to work. Other than that it appears to be a solid device with a good application. If I (or Momemtum) can figure out the audio issue I would say this is a slam dunk better alternative than the overpriced options. Especially since this unit has free 24 hrs video backup. No paying for monthly cloud fees.

Keeps disconnecting.
Disappointed that the Door Knock Smart-keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. I have a Momentum floodlight 2 feet above it and that never disconnects! Purchased the door knock three times and in that I hoped that it would work! I do like the product when it does work! Called customer service and they cannot give me a reason why I kept disconnecting so Iβm sending my Door Knock Smart back for a refund. :(

*******Buyer Beware********
I have warn you'll that momentum products are a waist of your money. After purchasing the knock cam a year ago along with the rest of their line of cams. I encountered problems from the start. Such as, Wireless pairing (struggled). I finally got all of my 5 cams connected after repeatedattempts. The cams seemed to be working fine for almost a year. These cam have the capability of updating via wireless internet. Last August all my cams stopped connecting. After troubleshooting the issue I found out that momentum pushed an firmware update to all cams at once. All 5 of my cams failed to update and I was not able to recover them(bricked). I called momentum to have them replaced because I was unable to update the firmware manually. Thier support team agreed with me and said they would replace them under warranty. Great support team and responsive right! I sent all my cams back to them so they can confirm that they can not be fix ($20 shipping fee). Then the shipped they shipped the replacement cams to me.When received them and opened the box I was extremely disappointed. All the cams looked like they were grabbed from the bottom of thier returns barrels and pieced together. Moving on, I start to connect the cams to my network. None of the junk cams would wireless connect. I figured out the the junk they sent me did not have thier latest firmware update. I call momentum support and complained. They said send them back and they would exchange them again. That would of cost me another $20. I asked them to send me a prepaid label because they sent me junk back under warranty. The support team said they would escalate my request and let me know if they would cover the shipping 2nd time round because it's thier falt for send me junk. I never heard back from them. Based on what I been through with momentum I wasn't banking on it anyway. Since the cams did power up I manually applied firmware updates specific to each model cam. I was able to connect all cams and everything seemed OK for a few months. At this time after a 1.5 years from when I purchased the cams the replacement knock is is failing and now giving me many false positive reports on my phone 24/7. The only reason I went with momentum is because of the garage cam and opener, which is still working. it's nice to manage all cams from one app.Based on thier inferior product and service standards I rate them with a big fat middle finger. π

Great product for the money works like a charm
Works almost too well had to turn down range to 3 ft. Sound detection is great turned on when vehicle is coming around the block. I can hear the neighbors talking on the porch 100 yards away. This thing is almost an invasion of privacy, it ain't my fault.

Waste of money unless you like waisting your money
I have issues with this thing since the beginning. The doorbell module inside does not work, therefore, I don't know when someone is at the front door (I don't stare at my phone all day like most. Bought this to mainly record, not monitor). Since February, I have been going back and forth with emails with their "support" team. I use support loosely, because they are not even that. And it's a shame because, they truly have a product here that could compete with ring. They just need better support.Sending a new module would have been the easiest thing to do. Things happen. I get it. I install bunk things sometimes. You replace them and move on.They continually referenced the voltage. Never accepting that something might be wrong with the unit and they never had a solution. I offered suggestions, but I don't feel they heard them.Sending a new unit would have been the best solution (my opinion). Their solution (eventually), send the unit back, we'll check it out and send it back. Which would have left me doorbell-less for who knows how long (took 5 months to get to this point).Unless they hire people that can actually help with troubleshooting, and say more than "sorry to hear you are having issues" and actually fix your issues, move on. Spend the extra money to get a product that actually has a favorable reputation and that can help you solve your problems should one arise.Side note, I am an electrician.They repeatedly insulted my intelligence. So if you like being belittled, like wasting money, and like being angry at people, then this is the product for you. I never wrote an all caps email to anyone until I met these people!I am really disappointed. It appears that they do not stand behind their product. 5 months with no resolve? Sorry. Not acceptable. I would lose my business if I treated my customers this same way.Good luck to the future buyers. And if you have one and are happy with it, then good for you. You got lucky.Going to buy a Ring, like I should have in the first place.

Affordable doorbell video cam
Waited months for this product to come out based on experience with another camera product of theirs.(update quit working and wont reconnect even with reset button after taking apart. Good for the days it worked and other product still connected so not network issue) requested replacement to try again and will update rating based on replacement. Update. Replacement is working well. Noticed no sound with live view but great on recordings.

Waste of time and money!
ordered the first one and it would connect... talked to momentum support and they said it was defective contact Amazon and since it was within 30 days, they would send another one. Amazon was unable to just replace the item, so they refunded the money and bought another one. Same thing happened ... so I am in the process of this return. Bought the Ring Doorbell this time... up and working perfectly within 20 mins,
