I brought y cat of 13 years on a plane from Boston to Chicago in a move three years ago...the bag fit under the seat in front in First Class. He had his Bear Bear and himself 14 or so pounds as an adult cat and did really well on the flight. He had room to move around and I liked that there were areas to "unzip" and give him a little love and affection when his sedation wore off. It really is comfortable (I think) with the fleece little bed inside. I highly recommend from this seller.

Both zippered openings are on the ends of the carrier, not on the top. One end has a full zipper from one side of the end to the other side like an inverted u so you can get the animal in and out and the other end only unzips the top/mesh portion of the end.

Q: What is the exact measurements for a large?

Per the description: Large - 19"L x 10"W x 13"HThis was perfectly within the parameters of having my companion ride in the cabin with me. The general rule of most airlines is that the carrier must fit under the seat and be similar in size/shape as carry-on luggage. Hard plastic carriers aren't flexible for placing under the seat. Plus, this resembles a "personal bag" which allowed me to actually hold my companion while in flight.

9 1/2"w ,13 l & 10 1/2 H. Due to soft sides make very flexible for movement but still secure.
