It cemented my #RushCrush!
“She had shown up and stolen a piece of my heart without opening her mouth. Then she’d consumed me. Taken it all.”When it comes to sexy, possessive, hopelessly smitten leading men, no one comes even close in my eyes to the one and only Rush Finlay. I don’t know what it is about this particular character, whether it’s the bad-boy-turned-devoted-boyfriend scenario, or simply his dirty mouth that never stops leaving me speechless, but I have been obsessed with him ever since he put a roof over a penniless young woman’s head and then ended up spending every waking moment trying not to fall in love with her. And failing oh-so gloriously. We’ve heard Rush and Blaire’s entire story—we saw their fated first meeting, we watched them falling for one another, against a lifetime of odds, fighting for their happy ending and finally finding it—but we never got a chance to dive into Rush’s mind and see the beginnings of their epic love story through his eyes. Until now. A perfect addition to an already perfect series, this book filled all the gaps, answered every question, and it only cemented my Rush Crush.“I don’t know what this is that is going on between us, but from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were going to change my world.”The son of a famous rock star, Rush Finlay is the embodiment of every woman’s wildest dreams. But one night of wild passion is all that any woman has ever gotten from him. Having watched his mother discard husbands all throughout his childhood, and his philandering father use women for one thing and one thing alone, Rush’s perception of relationships has always been warped, the mere idea of bedding one woman for the rest of his life never even crossing his mind. And then one day a blue-eyed angel walks into his life, and makes him question every single thing he has ever believed in.“I’ve been with a lot of girls, Blaire. Trust me, I’ve never met one as ... perfect as you.”Torn between his growing feelings for Blaire and his loyalty to his only sister, we finally get to see the turmoil raging in this young man’s heart and mind when forced to re-evaluate his priorities in life. We have always known the depth of his devotion to his sister Nan, as heartless as she may appear to others, but in this book, we are offered an intimate insight into their shared childhood, into the events that made him her only protector and shoulder to cry on in life. Their bond becomes real in our eyes, we almost feel for her (or maybe it is just me…) in light of her dysfunctional and ultimately traumatic upbringing, but most importantly, we finally shed light onto how powerful his predicament truly is and how much he is willing to sacrifice for the woman he loves.“It was like she’d become the sun, and I’d started revolving around her. She was my center.”Rush’s feelings for Blaire are as undeniable as they are troublesome to him. He fights them from the moment she walks into his house, her innocence and naiveté beaconing him to her and making him feel increasingly protective of her. Their romance assumes new dimensions once we get to know his thoughts during and around every well known scene, and to me personally, reading this story once again felt like I was reading it for the very first time. It felt fresh, more profound, and surprisingly engaging given the male point of view. The “peanut butter sandwich” scene alone, seen through his eyes this time around, felt even more heart-wrenching and intense, reminding me why I fell in love with Abbi Glines’ writing style in the first place, and why these characters resonated with me so strongly. This is not just a book for the fans of the series. This is a book for anyone who seeks an emotional escape in their fiction, a way of letting their naughty fantasies run wild while their hearts beg for mercy. A stellar conclusion to a beloved storyline, but I will give you one piece of advice—have Never Too Far handy once you start turning those last few pages…“I didn’t want to hurt her. Yet I would be her biggest heartbreak.”

Didn't think it was possible to love Rush more...but I was WRONG!!
Rush Finlay is my ultimate and #1 book boyfiend....has been since the day I read Fallen Too Far and he always will be. Many have tried to knock him from his pedestal, but they always come up short. I absolutely ADORE this sexy a$$, tattooed, protective, dirty talking, perfect bad boy to distraction! SOOOOO when I found out Abbi was writing Fallen Too Far from Rush's POV, I was determined I was gonna be first in line to read what my sweet lover was thinking. I pre-ordered, refreshed my Kindle every 2 minutes starting at 9pm, stayed up til midnight, functioned on 2 hours of sleep, fed my kids fruit snacks and Froot Loops til they were pooping rainbows just so I could experience more Rush. What I did NOT expect was that I was going to end up loving Rush TWICE as much as I did before! I mean, how is this humanly possible??? I will tell you how....because he thinks things like this..."God, she had me. That was it. She had me. I couldn't let her go. Not now. I was owned."And he says things like this..."Because I've had a taste, and I'm not sharing. This isn't just for fun. I might be slightly addicted."I would love to give you an example of his amazing and panty melting dirty talk, but I am trying hard to keep this PG ;) However, let it be known that my man's dirty talk is off the charts, crazy HOT, XXX rated! I had many a sweet baby Jesus, panting, fanning myself moment while reading. 74% almost did me in...for REAL, ya'll! Dear LAWD that man is incredible!I also loved that Abbi gave us a lot of extras that weren't in Fallen Too Far. It wasn't just the exact same book written from a different POV. There were a lot of new scenes as well which was a nice bonus.Anyway, if you haven't guessed by now, I absolutely, 120%, without a doubt LOVED this book! It was worth every penny I spent on it and my zombie day without sleep the next day. If there is something genetically wrong with you, bless your heart, and you somehow weren't a Rush lover before reading this book, I promise you will be once you read his POV. But be warned...you will find yourself needing to reread Never Too Far and Forever Too Far again right after you read the end of this one. I forgot how heartwrenching the end of Fallen Too Far was, but it was 80 times worse when you read it from Rush's POV....broke my heart clean in half :( Do yourself a huge favor...clear your schedule and one click this gem of a book TODAY!#RushCrushForever

Good story
Normally I don't go for his and her stories but this one was an exception. Rush is a character that is deep feeling but has a strong wall built around him that he holds onto tightly. He doesn't realize he's looking for love and stability until it knocks on his door and that he won't allow himself to pursue until it's almost too late.

A return to form and a must read for fans of the series.
I was slightly worried about reading this book as in the past the male POV books from other authors has been disappointing and I was concerned how Abbi was going to deal with this. In addition whilst I simply love the Rosemary Beach collection, Forever Too Far was one of the weaker books and not sure it added anything to the story. In fact I think it would have been better to have merged the 3 books into 2.So I apprehensive about reading this ...but I shouldn't have been. This is a clear return to form for Abbi and this book is excellent. This book is basically the 1st book from Rush's POV. It is not a stand alone and I would recommend reading it after the other 3 books and not straight after the 1st book.I loved this book as you got to see each scene from Rush's point of view but it was told in such a way that I didn't feel like I was re-reading the 1st book and it was still engaging. I also loved that we got to see much more about Grant, who is fast becoming one of my favorite characters and I cant wait for his 2nd book. One thing that did strike me as strange was the whole I don't kiss on the mouth as I don't know where her mouth has been (when referring to other girls) .. this opinion of Rush's only really came out in this book and it seemed slightly odd and ever so slightly hypocritical ..it didn't detract from the book i just found it odd?!?Anyways great book and a must read for fans of the series.
