I play the game Dead By Daylight, a lot, and this game calls for a lot of rapid vigorous left to right movement on the left thumb stick when you're playing as a survivor. I bought these because the rubber on my left thumb stick eventually came off thanks to wear & tear. The right thumbstick is fine. These fit fine whether you have the original rubber still on or not. Fits snuggly over the original rubber but there is a little give if the original has gone. After many matches with vigorous left to right action, these replacements actually hold their own well. DBD was the ideal game to test them out tbh.The only downfall for me is that I have small thumbs so the grip for me is outside of my thumb radius, I only feel the smooth part. My husband uses these now on his controller too with no problem at all. His digits are a fair bit larger than mine.Definitely beats replacing an otherwise perfectly good controller!EDIT: I want to add that we recently got a PS4 & I used these on the PS4 controller. They fit well. So, yes, they are great for both Xbox & PS4.

Firstly, I must admit that for the price you pay you do get a lot of Joystick Thumb Grip Cap Covers when compared with most other marketplace sellers who merely give only 4 or 8 pairs. The Left Joystick is the one which takes most of the abuses especially if you are into games that requires you to jump walls, go left, go right, thrust forward pressing the left Joystick down. This eventually wears down the very thin original XBOX controller's Joystick Thumb Grip rubber cap and it falls off.These are comfortable while playing games without adding any extra height. Also, they do initially fit tightly around the thumb sticks on original XBOX one S controller. The only caveat being that you *need* to have your old original Joystick Thumb Grip Cap Cover that came along with your controller. If the original cover is missing then these will eventually fall off.. Thus the review title.. You are comfortable yes.. but you do equally feel dumb for making this purchase as you need to keep replacing them once every two weeks.. Thankfully there is a lot in the package.. and it will last a while before you run out of Joystick Thumb Grip Cap Covers.Rating them with three stars!

I refused to let a $200 go to waste just because of thumbsticks.Tried some replacement PS4 sticks from here on Amazon. No go - fit wasn't right. I felt some grinding, and the dome base of the sticks weren't fit to the Scuf, not allowing me to push the sticks fully in 1 direction. Next option, some thumbstick covers. I bought KontrolFreeks, and the tri-claw [used to grip onto the tops of thumbsticks] are so harshly sturdy, I saw it begin to slightly tear the Scuf's thumbstick rubber. No go here either.Every other COVER cover I find on here are either not solid black [pink skulls or puppy paws? I'll pass] or just not what I'm looking for [like KontrolFreeks], until I came across these. These are exactly what I'm looking for. They don't slip or slide at all, and hug my Scuf's thumbsticks perfectly. If I were being nitpicky, the bumps on the top are just a bit too large and the sticks feel slightly taller, but I'll get used to this after a few more weeks of play.

I purchased for the joysticks on my Xbox One controller. With the original joysticks intact, these covers fit well enough that they will not have any slippage while in use. Although there is a little room(I believe they were originally meant for Playstation controllers), they do not come off during use. For the price and quantity, a definite thumbs up. 4 stars only because they have a tiny bit of room after applying to joystick.

I bought these for xbox one controllers as replacements, what I learned was that they work as long as you still have the original grips still on the controllers. Otherwise they are too big and move around easily on the thumb stick. Good concepts and effective if you still have the original grip but not so much if they are fully gone.

Was looking for cap cover for a heavily used controller. The grip go on fine, but after a few uses, it comes off easy and I have to constantly replace it. Other than that, it does its job.

These are perfect! Good fit on the sticks, the dots around the outside edge really help keep your thumb centered on the stick. This is a HUGE bag of them too, so I won't need any more for a good long time.

These joystick cap covers said it fits the ps4. Which it does not. It is way to big & sloppy. It's like someone that normally wears a size 8 Shoe. And puts on a size 12 shoe instead. Just because it can go on the joystick doesn't mean it fits.'
