Keeps the varmints off!

I bought these as a christmas present for my wife but it is only now when our cherries are ripe did we get a chance to see how effective they are. We put them on after the fruit had set and they were very easy to put on. Now the fruit is about ready the birds have made holes in them as easy as if it were tissue paper and they have eaten most of the fruit before it is fully ripe. We will revert to our home made covers next year and I would advise anyone to steer clear of this product, a lot of money for 5 peices of flimsy netting.

Last year i watched our cherries ripen only to go out and find a squirrel had eaten them before they were ready!The wood pigeons had already decimated our victoria plumbs by eating the buds after flowering so despite some negative reviews i bought these sleeves for our cherry tree. It looked a bit weird but two years after planting, we have finally had our first crop of cherries.Well worth getting.
