Q: What's the difference with other same products?

The biggest difference is the quality in the craftmanship. Compared to others on the market, the Bawloo doesn't chip, and it lasts for years even with regular use. I've personally had mine for over 20 years, and it works perfectly still. Bawloo's has a small factory in Japan and they only produce small amounts at a time.

Q: what is the difference between "single" and "double"? they are even priced equally with no clear indication to what they means

The double compartment has an extra metal piece going down the middle inner side of the press, so the sandwich has a crease for easier cutting after it comes off the press. The single makes one whole sandwich without a crease.
