This book is stuffed from cover to cover with the most wonderful ultra-sharp photos of the most famous dogs of Hollywood and the stars that were attached to them. It is an instant conversation starter to pass around at a party. It is fun to sit quietly looking at the rich detail of the images. Worth every penny - we love it.

I was a little disappointed. I thought that there would be a short narrative with each picture, telling a little about the actor and his dog. Instead it was mostly publicity photos of actors with random dogs.

This is a great gfit to give to a dog lover! My husband loves dogs and is the kindest pet lover on this planet. Sometimes I think he prefers our sweet Babe to me. She is less bitchy than I am.

Beautiful book full of photos of familiar (the stars') and adorable (the doggies') faces! Happily reminiscent of earlier times in American cinema and heartwarming...the perfect gift for the movie buffs and/or animal lovers in your life!

I'm a dog lover and will read anything that have dogs thought the pictures were very interesting only thing that I did not like where the pictures are worth let by page separation

This book was somewhat disappointing, particularly because I also purchased Hollywood Unseen and there are overlapping photos. The photos are good but there are surprising typos in the text.

How wonderful! A beautiful coffee table book on stars and their animals. Loved the photo of Elizabeth Taylor washing her Cocker Spaniel! An interesting book with breathless photographs of stars and animals, mostly their own pets.

so I haven't actually seen the book but for those who are movie buffs and love dogs, a nice book to have to look through from time to time.

Excellent book. Great photos and If you love dogs, this is a brilliant gift or just to keep for yourself!
