Q: would the magnetic strip from credit cards get scratch for constant use?

I am using it to protect my entry card to work place. I am not sure about credit cards, but I checked my card and there are only scratches on the middle of the card not the sides. Hope this helps you.

I'm not sure about your season pass. It seems to accept most ID badges I've tried. A metal keyring should work fine but the attachment point is plastic so you should be careful when attaching the keyring.

Q: Can you display card horizontally?

No, you cannot display horizontally...only vertically. It only holds one (1) card, and I required one that held two cards.
