Numbers hard to see

Well made easy to read the measurement is a 1/4 inch off and the total length of the 24" is only 23 3/4"

Finally got the measuring board and when I was putting my gear together for a day of fishing, I noticed something off about it. I looked at the measurement notches and saw that it didn't look like a full inch. Took a measuring tape and measured and sure enough, I'm short a half inch. Still gonna keep it, it's a nice board and feels top notch.

While this measuring board is adequate for measuring fish it is laser etched with the measurements. There are times that it is difficult to read because the etching does not stand out as easily as if the numbers were painted on. As I continue to use it I will be painting the numbers so they will be easier to read.

There’s only 1 screw hole. Debating whether to drill another so it will be securely fastened or using double sided tape.

I really like this fish ruler, but I wish the etched numbers were painted so that it could be more easily read.

Perfect size for the 16 foot boat I have. Fish mainly Walleyes where the keeper size is 13/15" depending where you fish. Don't need anything longer because we throw back the big ones. Best eating size is 15 to 22 inches. No guessing with this scale.

Worked great on the kayak. Maxed out the rule on my first day out with a 23.5" rockfish.The large end stop was great for larger fish.
