Not a box for beginners
A bit of a caveat: If you just want a freesat box and are not conversant with computers at all, and you have no access to anyone able to set this up for you, please do yourself a favour and do not buy this box to avoid disappointment.Since this product has two parts - software and hardware - the software not being written by the manufacturer themselves, I am not going to criticise the software as it is well within my remit to change it if I don't like the distribution that was shipped with the product, which I did...This is my first linux box. The image that comes flashed in the device, just out of the box, is not very good/out of date - so you will need to flash another image to enjoy its full potential. That being said, it is a very good box. It would be better if it had a second/extra USB port but this is not necessarily a deal breaker.Apart from that, is a very good box. It is well built, and it comes with a fairly decent PSU. So, well worth the £47 I paid - considering the potential it has.

This is a disaster.
After 1 minute I knew I'd made a mistake, 10 seconds, plugged it in, burning smell, waited, waited, smoke, unplugged it, back in the box and requested a refund.

Not UHD or 4K. Full HD only.
This review is for the Zgemma H8.2H. It's NOT 4K. Get it? All reviews I see refere to H9 this is not H9. Despite the advert it cannot hanble any streaming or viewing of channels above Full HD. But still happy with the box as I needed Freeview/Freesat and Satellite signal options as well as a smartcard reader in one box.So ok but not UHD.

This is an official Airdigital Zgemma H9.2H
This is an official Airdigital Zgemma H9.2H. The 2H simply means twin hybrid tuner (dvb-c and dvb-s). As this is a 4k box it runs an ARM processor. One thing to note is that ARM processer running OpenATV are not compatible with Mgcamd, you can only use Cccam and Oscam. The box ships with OpenATV 6.2 which has an issue with no sound on any HD channels, this is easily resolved with an upgrade of firmware to OpenATV 6.3. You can download an overnight version of OpenATV 6.3 for your box model. This box runs Wooshbuild Infinity, the install is very simple and takes literally 5 minutes max. This model has 1gb ram hence you don't really need a USB drive with a swap file. I've only had this model a few days but it is a small compact box with a lot of power. The price of £72 is a bargain really.

The box for this price should come with open channels
The box is good but the only negative thing that the box comes without the code for channels and you can buy box with the code with the same price
