WHITE CLOUD Soft & Thick 2 ply Comfort Toilet Paper Hypoallergenic and Septic Safe, 24 Count

The brand of toilet paper I had been using for a while was starting to feel like sandpaper. Manufacturers are cutting costs like never before, so my hubby one day brought home a package of White Cloud from a big box store. When he went back for more, they were out. Amazon to the rescue. It's not the cushiest or most absorbent brand on the market, so if that's your preference, keep looking. It is hypoallergenic, septic safe, lightly textured, 2-ply. It did cost me more money to get it from this seller than the big box store, but on the flip side, I saved on gas.

It's soft and absorbant, we have city water & sewer so we don't have to worry about clogs.

Supposed to be good for septic tank. Sheets don’t tear easily.

Have used White Cloud for years. Walmart used to carry it but now don’t. Glad I can get it from Amazon.

Bought this because 3 ply was out of stock - it does the job but is so thin you have to use a lot of it and it tears very easily.

Soft yet tough and thick

I was pleased about white cloud toilet paper. Very soft comfortable on the skin.

I just spoke to White Cloud in June of 2022 after receiving this product the past November when I ordered it as something new in addition to the White Cloud product I have probably used exclusively for close to 30 years after first discovering in Kmart! I learned in conversation that it had been produced at a new location and as I described it by likening to a single buy tissue or the old travel trailer / septic tank varieties of decades ago experience and questioned whether it really was a 2-ply toilet tissue. I was told it was as she identified its history when I was able to provide her with the numbers of the nine roll pack I had just opened, the very last pack from my November order because after the one I did not like the quality at all and stopped could never be in its description! In the interim months I had reverted to my old standby but yesterday not wanting to waste 9 rolls of this mistake, I rotated it into my white cloud normal two ply Supply and it's not going to happen as immediate recall of this product returned. Whatever they did, who's ever brainchild it was to increase compression, turned it into a product that requires as much increased tissue usage as single-ply requires and as stated above, makes the use of the word comfort on the package front quite a joke! I can't even imagine how rough it would be on the back sides of little kids and for little girls frequent and hurried usage it would soon be painful. For men or boys much less daily usage, they might survive.. I spoke with white cloud customer service relating my negative memories and before the refreshed memory I have today after using the past 24 hours! The eight remaining Mega rolls and that 9 pack are headed for my donation bin because I can't think of any other purpose for them as they can't even substitute for a drippy allergy nose when the roughness so irritating that pain and scabs resulted. Definitely no replacement for my puffs with lotion brand of nasal tissue. These may be out of production and was told buy white cloud CSR that Amazon is the designated supplier for them. Good to know! My original phone call was observing on Amazon the new packaging and labeling I'm about there 2-ply and 3-ply Mega rolls toilet tissue and I needed to verify that the two ply I was about to order would not be the undesirable two ply version... I wanted a guarantee they had not eliminated my preferred two ply product of decades for the loser trial item I regretted ever purchasing along with my regular order, never suspecting even White Cloud could make such a gross mistake! Hard to believe it even passed through the early trial stages to have new packaging created for it. Just how many women or girls we're included in those early trials, anyway? That whole extra compression process sounds like a man's bad idea!!
