A must have!
It's the only safe way to remove the blade so I can easily clean it and clean behind it!

You seriously need this, but it's poorly designed.
So if you don't have this removal tool, you risk cutting your fingers to shreds. The rotary blade on the meat slicer is like a rotary razor. However, unfortunately, the way this blade removal tool works is to place it on the surface of the blade and screw in two bolts to lock the blade in place so it can be removed. In theory this is fine, in practice the inside radius of the blade is slanted towards the axis. This makes it very very difficult to screw in the bolts properly. You have to kind of pull them down, since they are embedded in the rubber, and then screw them while pushing up. At some point, I'm going to wind up stripping the screws on the bolts or the threads on the blade. Neither of those will result in my pleasure of course. Basically blade removal is a bad design on the slicer itself, and this removal tool almost makes it worse.

A much safer way to extract the blade.
Very easy to use and much safer! Great tool.

Necessary & works ok BUT it should have come with slicer.
