It keeps your hair absolutely dry and yet it is comfortable-The edge that touches your face is soft and does not leave any mark on your face even though it fits tight enough to not allow any water in-but not uncomfortably tight. The outside is a soft waterproof material (plastic-like), that does not feel like your usual plastic-it's very soft and quiet (you'll know what I mean by quiet when you touch it). I bought 2 different kinds of shower caps-this one and another brand--after trying them both on, I used the Drybar cap and seeing how nice it was, I returned the other one and then bought two more of the Drybar caps. I am very happy with it and highly recommend it.

This is basically a plastic showercap lined with terry cloth. This makes it more comfortable, but a bit hard to deal with. The terry cloth can get wet and then doesn’t dry very easily. It also will stain if it comes into contact with a mask or something you’re using, and it’s hard to wash. I tried washing it in the washer (hand washing wasn’t cutting it), and just in the washer in gentle, most of the dry bar logo print came off. I don’t really care what it looks like but it made me think that the plastic part wouldn’t hold up to many, if any, more washer washings.

I love the dry bar brand and wanted to like this shower cap so badly. I have been a lifelong cheap plastic shower cap user and wanted to treat myself to something nicer. Just like a lot of the other negative reviews say, the lining gets so damp along the brim and the inside gets damp as well. The cloth is so to hard to dry. Once the problem started, I would leave the cap a few hours hanging with the plastic facing out to dry that part, then would then turn the whole thing inside out so the cloth part was facing outward. Then proceed to leave it drying the rest of the day that way. By the next shower sometimes the cloth part was still damp. It was starting to feel very high maintenance to remember to flip the cap inside out. And despite all these efforts, it started smelling meldewy and mold starting growing. I just gave up and threw the cap into the garbage. Switching back over to cheap plastic caps.

Really like this shower cap. My hair remained dry at end of shower. The selling point for me is the ability to have my hair on rollers and still fit under cap. I use medium flex rods to roll my hair.

This shower cap is super effective with Terry towing on the inside. I feel very secure that my hair is not getting wet damp or any kind of spray or humidity on it while I’m wearing it. Plus it’s super cute.

This is great for long hair and it stops the humidity, hence no frizzy hair!
