The price was right and since I was installing these on a sideboard I hardly ever use, they were worth it I guess. They are definitely thinner than the old ones that came with the sideboard (no keys with old ones-that's why I had to replace them) and the new locks are a little tight. Hopefully some WD-40 will do the trick.

Easily traded out the old locking mechanism with these. Key turns smoothly too.

Screws are weak and will break easily.

This product provided a nice solution to lock the doors on a bookcase I was building. The locks look nice while being practical. It is not a strong locking mechanism as the locking bolt is made from thin material.

The locks are fine, but they don't come with any screws to mount them. So the issue you have is, you get the lock then you have to go to a hardware store and buy "antiqued" specialty screws that cost as much as the locks themselves. Fail....
