The product description is a lie! "1000 sq ft" is what product title says - the manual clearly states "suitable for up to 100 to 200 sq ft". Ten times less than the product title states.The good things are:- It is quiet- It's small and light-weight- It comes with everything you need, including a clear discharge PVC tubing about 3 feet long.- It actually does dehumidify the air ever so slightly, I can see a few drops appearing in this discharge tube.The bad things:- Considering the cost, the water removal per dollar is a lot more expensive than the LG dehumidifier.- 1000 sq ft is an outrageous lie! The manual clearly states "Suitable for up to 100 - 200 sq ft"I have an LG dehumidifier that cost twice as much, but collects ten times more water than this thing. I should have paid the extra money and gotten a real dehumidifier. Moral of the story: Don't be cheap, get a real dehumidifier. The description says "1000 sq ft" - that's a complete lie. I have it in a 250 sq ft utility closet in my basement running on high setting, and it just barely brings the humidity to under 50%... When I had the LG in there, the humidity was never above 35%.I am really disappointed about that dishonest product listing title. At least have the common decency to NOT LIE right there in the product description. Very hurtful! Jeff Bezos should be ashamed of what Amazon has become. Even sleazy Radio Shack salespeople were never this bad. It's bad enough most products on Amazon are prodigiously overpriced compared to brick&mortar stores, but now we have to deal with outright lies as well? Yeah... I am extremely disappointed, and my trust in Amazon has been greatly eroded and I urge everyone to check elsewhere first before wasting your money on Amazon.

i did keep the box it came in , just in case , i have to send it back, but no need to do that, works just as well as a larger product, , takes up a small space,i have to dumb water once a day. so i se it is going to work just fine. worth geting. if i did not all ready have a larger unit in my living room, i would order it again, . have had it for 2 months now. works great. . worth buying.

for small spaces: simple controls and powerfulI needed a small dehumidifier for my small basement and the Rinkmo 30-pint model fits the bill! This unit is ideal for small spaces. I use it both in my laundry room and in my small bathroom. It is both quiet and powerful. The controls are simple and intuitive. It is very lightweight and easy to carry around with the handle in the back. So far it was perfectly for me

Instructions don't tell you how to use the continuous drain hose. Basically just pull the hose out and it knows to use it. It was so simple that it was hard lol. This is a nice pretty cute light unit. Very quiet. For my personal needs I needed something much much larger and I don't know how large 30 pints is. So that is not Amazon or the manufacturer's fault, that's my fault and I will still give this unit five stars.

Seems to work good but when hose is attached it still fills the bucket and shuts off when full, defeats the purpose of the hose, and I do have the unit higher than the drain hose for proper draining.

Great dehumidifier for a room! Used in a basement laundry room that tends to get on the humid side. Worked better than expected and was well worth the price for its efficiency, size, and portability.

This item heats up the room. It removes moisture but throws heat out in the process. It is not very helpful during the hot humid summer when the AC is running.

Does not hold 30 pints of water ! Way to small of tank. Please refund so I can buy a larger one. Tank too small for water.
