I Expect Better anytime I make a purchase
Very low quality. Because I am a Prime member I simply started a return and got my money back. I understand the price is low and some may say I should've expected it but I expect great deals and quality items from Amazon. When I received this item I could see right away that the latches were flimsy. The protective paper insert was sticking half out of the case. When I gave them to my father he tried all of them and 3 of them that produced no sound. Nice to have that happen in Father's Day right? I have 1 star for prompt shipping and returned funds. And that was really Amazon's doing.

Kay Harmonica Pack
You get what you pay for. Get 7 harmonicas for the price of one and well its not so good. 3 of the 7 harps have reeds that are blown out after very little use. Unless you are buying this for the kids suggest you invest the xtra bucks and pay for a decent harp. Thanks but no thanks

Ya Get What YaPay For
I decided to get this set because I had an old Kay Harmonica in the key of C (the Chicago Blues line) and it seemed to be the only one I had that had any kinda "soul" to it. Maybe because it lived in the cup holder/change holder of my old F150 for a long time.....it kinda absorbed the salt and grit and occasional sand from surf sessions in the State Park and the moisture that accompanies the N. Florida climate....but it was the one that could wail for me when I needed it to.I had ever-so-slightly high expectations of this set...just because of that old C Harp...but right outta tha box, some of 'em were not quite in tune and several of 'em had what I call "wheezy" reeds. But to be fair, at less than 5 bucks a pop, I shouldn't expect the moon and stars both. I just don't like havin' to take tha things apart and tune 'em myself.I still haven't quite learned how to deal with the "wheezy reeds". I encountered the same from a Hohner that cost more than twice as much. What's up with that, anyway? Sheesh....

A Great Gift for a Harp Player
The Kay brand Chicago Blues set of 7 diatonic, Richter system blues harmonicas is a great gift for a student harmonica player, or for a seasoned veteran harmonica player.I bought 4 Chicago Blues sets for a prize drawing at an educational harmonica event. They were a big hit.The set features seven harmonicas in the keys C, D, E, F, G, A, and Bb. That's most of the popular keys for accompaniment with a band. The harmonicas are sturdy, with a clear plastic comb, and brass reed plates screwed onto the comb. Brass reeds are riveted onto the reed plates. These are the same features used on expensive harmonicas. The case is cloth-over wood, with metal hinges on the back, and and two metal latches on the front. Inside the case, a soft cloth lining keeps the harmonicas dry, and in place. This is another example of a great Amazon bargain. Don't pass it by.John Broecker, Milwaukee Harmonica Club.
