Beta boy
Overall this wasn't a bad read but it was very hurried and the length wasn't worth the price. I'm a huge fan of the secret baby trope and an even bigger fan of sci-fi romance. That being said, the story bounced around in an almost jarring manner. H and h meet-screw-get separated-h has baby- H goes crazy and they reunite in the span of a chapter. The really frustrating part is so much of this story happens off screen. The OW drama didn't feel organic to the story/was resolved in four pages and this read like a novella. The price tag of $5 seems way steep for how little story content you get.

MY NEW FAVORITE!!!
Title: Cyborg's Secret BabySeries: Interstellar Brides - The ColonyAuthor: Grace GoodwinDesignation: Book 7 of Interstellar Brides: The Colony Sub-Series, Can Be Read As Standalone, No Cliffhanger, Short Novel (approx 175 pages) #sciencefiction #romance #alienhero #humanheroine #secretbabyMy Rating: Five Sexy Sci-Fi Stars*****Cyborg's Secret Baby is the 7th release in The Colony Series, which is a subseries of Goodwin's Interstellar Brides Series. All of the books in the series feature one woman finding love with one (or more) sexy warriors, usually alien but sometimes human in multiple pairings. Each can be read as a standalone, but there is an underlying interconnected and overarching conflict with crossover characters that runs throughout the entire series, which is why this reviewer recommends reading the books sequentially. If you're a fan of erotic sci-fi romance, it's one decision you'll never regret, and it will most definitely enrich your reading experience.I adore science fiction, completely smitten with hot, alpha aliens, and totally addicted to romance, so when I can get the perfect trifecta of all three, I'm in reader heaven! And Grace Goodwin delivers every single time! I found Goodwin's work a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. She's one of only five Sci-Fi Romance authors on my automatic buy list. When Goodwin has a new release, I never bother to read the blurb or reviews; I just one-click and dive in! I own all 15 books in her original Interstellar Brides Program Series, all 9 of Interstellar Brides: The Ascension Saga, all 7 of Interstellar Brides: The Colony, plus all 5 of the Interstellar Brides: The Virgins Series and, like all of her followers, await each new release with bated breath. (And this is only the count as of May 2019. By the time someone reads my review, it'll probably be even more. lol...) Yeah, I think it's safe to say I'm a fan, and I've never regretted a single purchase! But I digress, so let's talk about this book. Fans have been clamoring for more of The Colony series, as well as more stories featuring the Atlans, an alien race of warriors who transform into a beast alter form for battle. I should know since I'm a member of her fan group and only one of many doing the begging. lol... And one thing I can say about Goodwin, she listens to her readers. We ask and she delivers! Cyborg's Secret Baby was probably another of Goodwin's most highly anticipated books of the series, simply because it features an Atlan warrior and takes readers back to The Colony where we get to revisit quite a few of our favorite characters from previous stories, and Goodwin delivered in spades! There were so many things I enjoyed about Cyborg's Secret Baby; it's impossible to pick a favorite. It's fast-paced, easy to follow and, as always, well written with snappy dialogue, an intriguing storyarc, a heart-wrenching conflict, and a large cast of engaging characters. But before I continue, may I just say - Woohoo, our hero is an Atlan Warlord! I've been completely smitten with the Atlan Warlords since they were first introduced in the series and like my fellow fans, I've begged shamelessly for more Atlan Warlord stories. These guys are beasts, and I do mean that quite literally. They're already huge and all alpha, but they can transform into a much larger alter form when angry, in preparation for battle, or when protecting people they care about. It takes a very special woman to handle an Atlan, especially one modified with Hive technology which makes them even more dangerous! But Gabriela Silva from Earth was most definitely up for the challenge. And Jorik... sigh... What do I even say about Warlord Jorik? This guy was a mountain of a man, monstrous and scary but so sweet. And he and his beast were both in agreement - they wanted Gabriela and only Gabriela. *swoon* If you've ever read a Grace Goodwin story, then you already know nothing's ever easy for the hero and heroine. It's always a treacherous journey to find their happy ever after, but Goodwin really put Jorik and Gabriela through the wringer. OMG, I was sobbing, swearing, sweating bullets, and gasping for breath with my heart pounding in my chest! I thought I was going to have a heart attack! And I loved every single second! By the time I reached the final page, I was exhausted, totally wrung out, completely satisfied, and grinning like a loon. lol... I don't generally give spoilers, but I will say this...there's a lot of angst and a baby involved! Gotcha! lol...So, did I like this book? Yes, very much! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adults. If you enjoy fast-paced, well-written science fiction brimming with action, adventure, danger, drama, engaging storyarcs, nail-biting conflicts, endearing characters, sexy heroes, sassy heroines, steamy passion, erotic sex scenes, and heartwarming romance, then this entire series is screaming your name. Will I read this author again? Abso-freakin-lutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my seat, gasping for breath with a death grip on my ereader as the pages flew as quickly as the time! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Well done, Grace Goodwin! Well done, indeed. And FYI, we, your fans, are still waiting for Warden Egara's story and not so patiently, I might add! lol...

Another Awesome Atlan!
There is a definite reason that I love the Atlans and especially those on the Colony. Grace has given us another fantastic story (though it really kicks into super high gear once the couple is reunited on the Colony). This one does not start out with an Interstellar Bride but with an Atlan and his beast who have found their mate the old fashioned way - by chance. Jorik's journey to slowly win his mate is catapulted due to unforeseen circumstances and those circumstances have dire consequences for our couple. With all the different forces conspiring to keep our couple apart, that shiny beacon know as Warden Egara once again works her magic. I really loved the way Jorik and the rest of the Colony inhabitants reacted to baby Jori (these Colony stories break my heart with each and every mention of an unmated Colony warrior). The twist with Jorik's Interstellar Bride once again reveals just how awesome it would be to have an Atlan of your own. This story leaves me with one giant burning question for Grace Goodwin - WHEN IS WULF GETTING HIS STORY? Needless to say, I gobbled this book up so quickly, that now I just want the next book in the series and though I love the Atlans and everyone on the Colony and want their stories sooner rather than later, I know there are other stories to tell.I started this series on book #2 (Mated to the Warriors) and I believe it has gotten better and better. In my opinion some of the stories are true stand-alones (Trion, Rogue 5 and Vikens) and others are more satisfying if you have the whole background on the Hive war (Prillons, Atlans, and Colony). It doesn't really matter how you read them but READ them!

Light fun read; lots of sex scenes; light bondage
The premise is appealing but the read is more fluff than what I enjoy. I don't mind insta-love but I do miss the nitty gritty of the story. All the intrigue, action & challenges occur 'off-screen' - the reader is 'present' for a few interactions between the characters and lots of sex scenes.

This book was wonderful.
I couldn’t wait to get this book once I found out about it on the authors fan page. Yes, there were some minor grammatical and continuity issues but I easily overlooked them because I was enormously pleased with the story itself.I love secret baby stories. Especially, sci fi secret baby stories. I dislike other women stories. But this one was perfectly done and so I have no quarrels with that added twist. I love the female lead as a Latina and a plus sized woman doing it in her own. Best type of character IMO.Both were likable relatable characters. No wishy washy flakiness on there feelings. Yes, there was some anxiety here and there. I loved the tortured Atlan aspect in this book. It gives it just the right note of struggle to be together despite all odds.I can’t wait for all the Atlans on the colony to get there HEA’s. I definitely favor the colony books of this series but any Atlan story is on my reread list. When I did the interstellar brides quiz at the back of the book, I was disappointed that I got Prillon mates first. Lol. I did it over and over again until I got an Atlan! That’s how much I like these characters species. This is the second secret baby story of the series. I hope the author does many more. I always reread the first one, even if it was a Trion story. Enjoy, because I sure did.

Wow
This was an excellent story which was just that little bit different to the others I've read but it was great to get to the end and find the hea that is at the end of all Graces stories.

Loved it
My goodness i was nervous reading this one, after the synopsis i couldn't see how someone wasn't getting hurt. I know Grace Goodwin always gives us a HEA but i just couldn't see it happening with this one. I will never doubt again, thank you for a great book.
