and they are excellent! There is no uneven color when filling in ...
I bought these for adult coloring books, and they are excellent! There is no uneven color when filling in a large area and strokes overlap, the color comes out smooth and true to tone expectations. The fine tip is firm, and the brush tip is easy to control. The zippered cases my set came in are great too, with all colors viewable at a glance. They *do* bleed thru to the back of the paper but do not bleed thru the outlining black of the design on the front, although they might if you just set the tip to the paper and left it there and then didn't watch it. The markers are thicker in the barrel and nub than the pencils I am used to, and I find them more comfortable to hold. I am using them in conjunction with Prismacolor pencils, and I have had excellent results. I will try to add a picture of my first completed piece. I am glad I didn't get the chisel tip, as I think those would have been too broad for detailed work. I highly recommend these markers!

At this price it can't be beat for what it is and it comes with the cases.
ok, I've had an opportunity to test these out thoroughly and they are really nice. I think the brush nib is a little thick and tough to do detail work with is my only complaint and I have noticed that you can't color quick or you get dry strokes. The colors are beautiful on paper and I'm very pleased with the quality overall. One thing to note is there's like five of each color, five blues, five greens, five pinks or reds and that's so you can shade. This is not a mixed color set like some might think it would be with all different colors because of that. Note as well there are no grays at all but it does come with a black.

These markers are worth every penny!!!!
I never do reviews but I just had to brag on these!!! I was very hesitant to purchase markers that cost so much, but I couldn't be happier!! I read other reviews about receiving double colors, too much bleed and the caps being to tight to remove. Personally the caps are easy to remove but tight enough to provide a quality seal. My order had no double colors, and if you know what you are doing, these markers are very pleasant to use. The brush tip is just that- more like a paint brush which I love considering I'm into so many different mediums and love to paint. You have to have a gentle hand and a light stroke to avoid the bleed. If you do it properly you will be in love with these markers! They are worth every penny, I'm so glad I got the 48 kit and only wish I had gotten the larger one. The colors are bold and super vibrant, they go on super smooth. Ive included the "first" coloring picture I did so that you can see how brilliant and beautifully they will color your work. I also included the very "first" one I did so that you can see that even on my first try there were only a few times I got sloppy and pushed a little to hard on the markers and had a little bleed over the lines, otherwise I was able to gently color right up to the line. I never had an issue with them bleeding through to the next page, but then again I prefer high quality thick paged coloring books. All together I'm totally in love with these markers!!!

Great markers
Bought for my son after he seen these on youtube. They are good markers but i feel they are a little over priced. They are alcohol based so they do color well.

Excellent quality and value
Beautiful set of markers for a great price. Cases are convenient for organizing colors. Lids are tight at first but loosen after the first opening. I used a rubber jar opener to pull and twist and that worked well, even with my old arthritic hands. Love the brush tips. Can go from detail to broader areas with ease. Beautiful used alone or layered with prismacolor pencils.

Works nice but bleeds a lot and very pigmented.
This is my first experience with brush markers. I definitely wanted a good product to start with but not Copic. Like when I get more into art I will more than likely save up to invest in Copic markers. I feel like this is a good price point to know I'm getting alteast what I want. The colors are all really dark and the number system makes no sense. They are extremely pigmented in one swipe. Darker colors seem to be a bit streaky which for the water was really good look for the black landscape not so much. It bleeds through the page a lot it even went so far as to go on to my next drawing which I will now have to find a way to incorporate that in. I already had the line art down and it goes against what I had planned for it. I did have a paper between the two pages but I took it out because I thought I was done and did one last final touch. This is a Sketchbook but I also tried it out on thicker paper. I took more pictures to show people what I was talking about but for some reason it will only let me show one.

The gateway to art exploration!
I’ve been using Sharpies for the longest time to color and I’ve always wanted Prismacolors but they were so expensive that I never purchased them! Well finally I see them on sale so I decided to try them out and I am so happy I did :) I am in love with the brush tips!! Never used anything like it before. The colors are so clean and comes out so fluid its hard not to be obsessed with them. I kinda feel like I’m wasting them so I’ve moved on from coloring books to drawing my own stuff and I’m still learning all the tips and tricks with shading and blending and getting no streaks with large areas and different strokes and it’s been a really fun art discovery trip. This one I used a silver paint marker to outline and then filled it in. It was a lot of fun! The possibilities are endless if you mix it up with different coloring tools :) I just started using colored pencils also to highlite and blend the markers together! So many things you can do.

Smooth like butter
I’ve used quite a few alcohol-based markers in my time, and I’ve always come back to prismacolor. Their quality is astounding, they blend so smooth and the dual tip makes application amazing! If you are debating it, buy these!!!

The best tools are never cheap
I have been an avid user and fan of Prismacolor products for years... at least 20 of them, to be sure. For the price, they are a bit more than I prefer to pay, but, compared to Copic, they are within my budget, and in my opinion, produce the same results. I prefer the brush and fine tips over the chisel and ultra fine, but to each their own, on that one. I have also recently acquired and had the pleasure of trying out the OHU brand, and find them to be, ok, but still not as good as Prismacolor.

Very high quality markers
My first adventure in to markers, I am a digital artist by trade and want to expand my skillset a little.I went with Prismacolor as they are well regarded and aren't as expensive as Copic (though I hope I can afford to try Copic one day too).Using on marker paper they settle very nicely and the colours are very rich. I like that the lids have a little knobby bit on them to stop the pens rolling away when you set them down. They glide over the paper very smoothly and deliver a nice even distribution of ink. My only complaint is that with them being alcohol markers they're a bit on the smelly side and I start to get a headache after a while. Might have to shift my desk next to a window! The price seems to have doubled since I purchased them (the 48 piece set with case) but I think I would still be happy to pay that price based on what I know now. Obviously I am thrilled to have got an apparent bargain though.

Happy so far!
Seem to be good quality and a good selection of colours. Will want to order lighter pastel colours to add to collection. Have not had any dry ones.

Great Markers!
This product is great.. they blend very well, but do bleed through normal paper. I bought the 48 pack and every colour is here bright as needed.
