I've always gravitated toward super fluffy bath sheets, but I was SHOCKED at how effective these lightweight Turkish towels are!! Great size - as a tall person 5'10", I need a bath sheet size bath towel, and these fit the bill. They are quick drying and VERY absorbent. Unlike the 'fluffy' towels, this absorbed my post shower water very quickly. I used the towel right out of the package, so it wasn't super soft, but it wasn't abrasive either. I think it will soften up more after washing. The only thing I didn't love was that, like the fluffy bath towels, there seemed to be a fair amount of link after using. I THINK this is because I used it before I washed it, so I will update after a wash to see if the lint issue resolves. Overall, great product. I loved the color I chose. I was worried about the tassels, but they are a non-issue. Definitely purchasing more!!

I bought 5 of these on prime day to check out how this style towel would work for my family. These are truly awesome!! They are super absorbent but dry quickly in the sun on a warm day. They are so lightweight that all 5 equal 2 of my regular terry cloth beach towel. This is a huge plus when we travel and need to take beach towels with us. We have used them almost daily at the pool or beach and they are standing up incredibly well. I have not noticed any shrinking after putting them in the dryer and they are only minimally wrinkled when I take them out. Highly recommend this brand.

Absorb quickly, but seem to not be able to hold much water... It seems like a contradiction- they are very absorbent but can't hold much water--- get out of the pool, dry off... great! But when you get back into the pool and get back out again, the towel is still sopping wet and can't seem to handle more than one use in that instance. Other towels that are made of terrycloth seem to be able to handle two or three uses before they're completely saturated. I still love these towels and we'll use them for travel and maybe as an additional towel on pool days.

I bought this with a great deal of skepticism, not believing this towel could be absorbent or resistant to collecting sand like typical beach towels. I was wrong on both fronts. This towel is extremely absorbent, and while drying off my body and bathing suit does make the towel pretty wet, it also dries very fast. Lay it out in the sun and within 20ish minutes, it’s dry again! Sand surprisingly doesn’t stick to it either, even when wet. Give it a good shake and the sand is gone. We found ourselves using the towels to wipe stuck sand off our feet because it was just as efficient as using water. Buy these, they’re worth every penny.

I was skeptical, but now I love them and want every color. I ordered 5 different colors; Fuchsia, Dark Coral, Denim Blue, Teal and Dark Grey. All were beautiful.They absorb water just as well as a traditional towel, they are soft, sand resistant and dry fairly fast. I used them to shower with first and they dried me off well. Then I took them to the beach.They dried my skin and stopped the drip on my swimsuit. When dry the sand falls right off, when wet I had to shake it hard several times for 98% of the sand to come off. They dried rather quickly when in the sun. They did not prevent my seats from getting damp when leaving the beach, so I'll probably keep a traditional beach towel in the car for when we leave. But over all these were great. So much more room in my beach bag, not heavy or bulky and look nice. And the best part, no more sandy towels in my car and laundry.

I finally had the opportunity to test these out at the beach after buying them several months ago. First of all, I love how little space they take up in both my linen closet and travel bags. I was skeptical that they would not absorb water well, but I found that they're just absorbent enough to help us dry off and I love that the sand did not stick. They just need a quick shake and it all falls off and helped keep the car clean for the drive home. I even tied it around my waist which ended up looking like a cute skirt coverup.

We needed towels for our conversion van, and since every square inch of space is precious, we needed something that didn't take up too much room and still worked as a towel and a blanket. I have purchased SC towels before, and they really didn't live up to the hype. I tried these and they are PERFECT! My husband gave me an 'ARE YOU CRAZY?' look when I handed it to him after his shower in the van, but he was impressed! Excellent absorbency, and dried super fast! Will be buying more!

My beach towel was too small for vacation, so I bought this one and LOVED it! Everyone I went with said they were going to buy one. It was nice and big for spreading out on the sand. I’m 5’6” and my whole body fit on it. For how thin the material is, it’s great for drying off, and it also dries fairly quickly. All sand comes off with a few shakes! Would recommend to anyone.

Llegó antes de la fecha prevista por Amazon y de verdad, estoy encantada con la toalla. Sí se le pega la arena, si ésta está mojada...son leyes de física, no magia jajaja Pero la arena seca sí se quita muy fácilmente. Compré 4 colores distintos y ¡todos son hermosos! De verdad que dan ganas de ir a la playa solamente para usarlas jejejeje

Good product. Use it as a wrap at the beach or cottage. Light and compact. Light olive is a nice color.

First time using a peshtemal towel. It's thinner than your regular beach towel, but that's a pro not a con. But if you are not familiar with these types of towels, you may be concerned. But the proof is in the performance of this product. It dries faster - very absorbent. I like to towel off and then use as a sarong or tie it around my neck and wear it halter dress-style. People complain they wrinkle, but I find I just drape it over my deck rails and the wrinkles soon relax. Colour is beautiful too. Definitely looking to purchase more.

The material is really soft and absorbent. I had bought a Turkish towel previously that is nice but not the quality this has. I totally recommend.
