Monster Notebook

Perfect for my 7 year old to read. My 5 year old loved the stories too. We read the whole series.

This is perfect for any fan of the series. Each page is devoted to a monster, like an encyclopedia, it has lots of fun facts about each one. It is true the binding is very brittle and pages can easily fall out., so the five stars reflect content only. We originally checked this out from the library, which had the same binding problem, but my son loved it so much we bought him his own copy.

The binding is bad. Pages fall off the spine easily.

My son spotted this book at school and asked me to order it. Although it didn't take long for him to read, he really enjoyed reading and looking at all the illustrations throughout the book. It is more of a fictional catalog of species, than a storyline. But is very imaginative and funny, not really scary.

My son LOVES The notebook/binder of doom series and we got this for him as a little surprise. He absolutely LOVES it, and spent weeks going through the pictures and details of each monster matching them to each of the monsters in the book series. It's full colour and a really nice way to re-engage him with his favourite books while he waits for the next one to be released!
