A really lovely product. Surprised at how soft the pads are. On first use they don’t absorb as instantly as cotton wool so my micellar water went everywhere. They also fold over as you wipe your face which was a little annoying but I’ll get the hang of them. I’d far rather use this sustainable product. I was just a little disappointed when I saw ‘made in China ‘ on the box as I’d read they were from a small independent UK company. It hadn’t occurred to me that they would have been made in China. So their carbon footprint is high!

Love this product. This is my first step to making changes to a more sustainable planet. The quality is high and price is low. I would usually buy a pack of make up wipes a month at about £4 a pack so I am saving money and the planet. I was dubious at how well these would work but 100% take all my make off with cleanser. Will look to buy further Purext products for sure.

I’ve been trying this product for a couple of months before reviewing it and I can say I’m impressed. I love that these have made me stop using disposable cotton pads and once you get used to them they’re great. The first time I used these I thought they were quite rough compared to disposable cotton pads but I found that when they’re wet they are softer and don’t absorb too much of the product opposed to when they are dry. They do absorb a lot of product so I have found I’m using more than I would with disposable ones but I don’t mind because it’s not a noticeable amount really. They’re quite durable and easy to clean, once used I put them in the bag they come in (tie it up otherwise you’ll find cotton pads all over the washing machine) and pop them in the washing machine on their own, I’m sure you can put them in with other stuff I just prefer to do it this way. I put it on a 30 minute hot wash and they come out relatively clean, they do have some stains but when I use them to remove mascara I’m not surprised. I find that I go through these within a week so every Sunday I put them in the wash. I would give this product 5 stars but they can be rough on the skin. I would also suggest washing them when you first receive them to make sure there aren’t any chemicals on them from being made like you would with new clothes.

They are little circles of soft towelling essentially. They work fine and take make up off/clean my face well, however really they are not very good value for money at all in comparison to a flannel, or even just cotton wool. The bag to wash them in broke very quickly and is difficult to untie once it is out of the wash. They pucker after washing and don't dry flat. Also, they get very stained very quickly - a lot of make up stains have stayed on there even after washing several times. If you use them every day then you will have to wash them very quickly.

I ordered this product due to its Eco-friendliness which is very important to me and has been for many years.It was delivered very promptly and was beautifully packed in eco friendly materials. The set included many reusable wipes and an extremely handy wash bag with pull strings and an attached label reminding you what temperature to wash at. I was delighted with the whole package and even more delighted when I used the pads for the first time. They are much softer and larger than cotton wool pads making the removal of make up quicker and more efficient; you only needed one.I would not hesitate to recommend this product and will be buying more for gifts and for me ; of course.Another bonus is supporting a small family run business who have demonstrated their creed to to provide high quality, eco-friendly products at affordable prices. Although the purchase was via Amazon I feel this is a positive way to support small businesses.

Love these. Been looking to ensure that I’m being as conscious as possible in my beauty routine and these are soft and perfect for adding product like toner to your face or removing makeup with cleanser.Comes with a little bag that you can throw in the washing machine which is amazing so easy to use, clean and store.Would highly recommend

I like this product. The pads are big so you don't go through a lot quickly. Very absorbant so not the best for toner. They are also not the softest which I prefer, but I guessing they get softer after a few washes. Overall would recommend this.

Amazing quality products and soft on the skin, which is great for me as I have dry sensitive skin.I have now used the full set and clean them in the wash with no issues. I made sure to put the cotton pads in the wash bag so I do not lose any pads.I would recommend air drying the cotton pads in the wash pad and with all the pads laying flat to keep their shape.
