After a bad experience with cheaper hoses, I bought this one. Very durable, can sit around on hot patios in summer with no problem. I bought a second one.

I run a small commercial nursery and lavender farm and have tried so many different hoses over the years. Recently even succumbing to the hype of expandable garden hoses. This hose still crushes it. It requires more work, but as long as you plan your pathing and let the hose 'twist' out of possible kinks as you water, it will last for years. Many people just muscle hoses around and angrily fight them when they start to kink. Just get Zen and patient, and you will be happy with a hose like this.The expandable hoses really disappointed. First, they require very high pressure to keep them fully expanded. If your pressure drops as you are using them, they tend to 'recoil' to their rested state, which forces you to fight them or turn your water wand on and off to rebuild pressure. Not only that they are made of some kind of nylon/poly blend material and were tearing and fraying the first day I tried one. I don't recommend them and would go with these hoses all day.

Needed a hose that would stay flexible when temperatures drop and this is it! Got it in yellow. No real complaints other than it is expensive. Yes it will kink at times but only if not unrolled properly. What I did when I received it was to carefully unroll it without any twists all across the yard and let it bake in the sun for 2 days. I did this to get out any residual set of the coil shape. Probably wasn’t needed but didn’t hurt. This is the high quality hose you remember from years ago. Will probably purchase another for the front of the house.

It was expensive, but well worth the price. We live in Corona De Tucson AZ and kept blowing out our COSTO purchased hoses. My son recommended these hoses as he uses them for his work. He is a plumber and knows his equipment. Recommend this hose highly and know that it will save us money by outlasting any other hose we ever owned.

I’ve used lots of expensive hoses looking for one that doesn’t kink. This one will link, but not very much. I’ve been using this brand for3 years now and they have not leaked! The last hose I found that absolutely would not kink would spring leaks and could not be repaired.

Yes, it's five times as expensive as the other hoses. Buy this hose. I've tried the cloth-style hoses and the Lowes special $30 hose. They 'work' but the cloth hose springs a leak if you look at it the wrong way and the cheaper rubber hoses are nothing but kinks and a giant pain to roll up. Buy this hose. It's perfect. Seriously, it will pay for itself in that you won't buy a new hose every year.I write this for all the researchers. I spent a long time searching for a hose. I was disappointed over and over and over again by cheaper hoses promising they are good. They are not. There were so many empty promises. This hose is expensive. Still, stop looking and just buy this one. There is no need for additional comparisons. Buy this hose and do something that isn't comparing hoses online like relaxing.I can't believe I wrote all of this about a yellow hose.

Wish I would have got it the short one I got is a great hose

This hose has really good reviews and claims to be kink resistant. This hose kinks a lot more than my other three, so I don't know what they're talking about. Also, it seems to have some kink memory. I can feel where kinks were in the hose . . . there's an indentation at the spot.Crush proof connectors don't look that sturdy. The hexagonal threaded parts look about normal, but the sleeve of the coupling that actually connects to the hose looks easy to crush. In the picture of the tractor running over the coupling the show the hexagon taking the load. I'm not sure what will happen if the load is a smidge to the side and it's all on the sleeve.If you don't need the durable EPDM rubber, I think my cheaper YAMATIC Heavy Duty Garden Hose is worth a look. It has different problems, but kink memory isn't one.

This is our fourth hose we have added to our backyard from Dramm colorstorm and they are all in brand new condition. The real rubber makes such a difference in durability the one we bought several years ago is in the same shape as the one we bought last week.

Has the kink free, easy to coil, hefty weight just like I had with my old rubber hose that lasted 24 years.Only one problem: now I have to worry about someone stealing my hose! So expensive!
