Good product but too small.
I bought this item as a crossword solver. It is just what I wanted but is smaller than expected. I have difficulty using the small keys and reading the small print. One good point is the many functions.

Does not provide dictionary definitions like its predecessor
It seems to contain more words than the old one I was replacing but this one does not allow you to check the meanings of a word, so a proper dictionary is still needed. That was disappointing. On the ergonomics, they have made the lid so thin and set back from the edge that it is not easy to open the lid. Why?

Does what it should.

Yes but no
I bought this for my mother who enjoys puzzles and asked for an up to date dictionary. It does way more than a dictionary, it depicts spelling mistakes, solves puzzles, anagrams and I also think it converts. Also comes with added games. Personally I think the item is great. Only issue is its a little on the small side for the person it was purchased for. Small buttons, small screen. My mum suffers from arthritis and struggled with the smallness of the item. However she can handle an iPhone just fine. Which goes to show how tiny it is. Great value for money for what it does, but personally I wouldn’t purchase for myself and my mum hasn’t used it. Depends on what you want I guess

Good for Crosswords
Although this item is called a Spellchecker, its main use is likely to be for Crossword addicts who need to work out anagrams and words with missing letters - it does these tasks well

Unimpressed
Not a patch on my old Version (Concise Oxford Thesaurus) which alas ‘died’ - very disappointed

little spell checker
my 10 year old loves to use the spell checker for homework, and there are several games to keep her busy too.
