I needed this pillow for chronic lower back pain and it was incredibly helpful. It was the right height and kept a firm enough shape that my legs stayed elevated all night (and I'm a big person). It's also the right length that both of my legs can be elevated without feeling like they're slipping off the edges. My only complaint is that the cover is not very high-quality (like a low thread count bedsheet) and felt a little scratchy until I got used to it.

I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Because of this, I cannot lay flat without something under my knees if I'm on my back or between my knees if I'm on my side.I have been using this for a year and 8 months now. The thing that I absolutely LOVE about it is that it is firm enough to withstand the weight of my legs without flattening, but soft enough to not cut off the circulation in my legs. That being said, the cover is kind of rough to the touch and after going through the wash the first time it has pilling on the surface which adds to the roughness.When placed on the bed in the way it is meant to, it is not tall enough to provide me with proper elevation for my knees. To remedy this, I turn it on it's side with the angled part pointing at my feet. Thankfully, this works great and is then tall enough to relieve the strain on my back. I was also surprised that the angled top does not really affect the feel of it when I place it between my knees when I am laying on my side. Also, when laying on my side it is of a length to support my upper leg from knee to foot, which I am once again very thankful for.All in all, this was a great purchase. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with back problems.It would be nice to maybe see a deluxe version of this that has an outer memory foam layer as well as a softer cover that doesn't pill up when washed (it'd be nice to see that on the regular one as well).**EDITAfter writing the above I went back and read through some of the other reviews. I noticed that a lot of people mentioned a chemical smell. I believe that the foam did have a smell to it when I first got it, but it was never bad enough to bother me while I'm sleeping and my wife has never mentioned it. So, don't let the smell stop you from purchasing this.

I just got this today and I have already used it. I'm a relatively tall man with about a 31 inch inseam. All I can say is that this leg rest does exactly what I want it to do--it really takes the pressure off my back when I lay down. I love the extra width. It's a perfect size. It's nice and firm also which is good. I recommend this. No complaints. I have a twin bed, and this covers the width of the bed without going over the edges at all. There's maybe an inch or two to spare on each side. Definitely get this one for the extra width. Any less width and my legs would fall over the sides, but this is perfect.

This product smells so bad I can't use it. I've washed the cover but the foam is the culprit. I've used half a bottle of febreze to no avail. I've left it out in the rain-no help. I called the 800 number on the package and they are aware of the odor and suggest I use a vinegar wash. When I asked the proportions of water to vinegar they couldn't tell me. But they were aware of the odor problem. Some have suggested that because the Chinese recycle all kinds of stuff into making their products the smell will never leave it. I try to buy Made in the USA products and did not notice this was made in China. I have the foam outside on my deck hoping it will eventually get better and will try a 50/50 vinegar water wash this weekend and saturate it. If that doesn't work I will attempt to return it. It's also very hard and uncomfortable but I thought perhaps that would change with use if I could just get it to where I can use it.

This did help raise my knees, but it is too firm for comfort through the entire night. I need it all night. I had to put a soft pillow over it and place both in one pillowcase to hold the pillow in place. It works with frequent adjustments as I move. There has to be something better out there. I have found that stacked bed pillows collapse and shift so they are not an option. I like that this bolster is narrow so that I can choose how high I want my feet raised. A firm bed pillow works for my feet. This setup isn't possible using only bed pillows. I don't regret this purchase. The bolster is useful.

Foam is firm enough to support heavy legs, yet soft enough to be comfortable for long periods of time. The length and height are ideal for an adult of most any size. I am a large woman and this item does what I needed it to do, which is to allow my legs good support and ease pressure off of my back while I sleep. The material for the cover is somewhat cheap. It is a slightly scratchy cotton blend. Would have been nice if the cover was a softer, brushed cotton. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

This last year various health issues has meant that for the first time in my life, I only get good, solid sleep when sleeping on my back. The problem has been that my lower back has hurt so badly in the morning that I could hardly move! On top of that I have severe neuropathy that seems to be getting worse.I read a review of this product by someone who said it helped with their neuropathy. I ordered without reading any further.This arrived very quickly!Results after one night... I slept soundly on my back and my back felt great PLUS my feet felt much better than they usually do first thing in the morning. I am looking forward to seeing how this helps the neuropathy long term.My husband and I were talking about needing to get an adjustable bed (he has back problems as well) but this is a MUCH more affordable solution. I think I'll be ordering another for him soon!

Just got this hours ago it is exactly what i needed to help stretch my lower back out.its nice and firm meaning I can use this as long as I want no need for fluffing and this comes with washable cover that most dont come with!!! Compared to the $100+ price the local homedics store wanted for something that isnt even comparable in height im thrilled i decided to wait the week for delivery.Weird though was home all day nobody knocked or rang the doorbell just left it on front porch.

This is just right for elevating the knees which takes strain off muscles. I have severe Fibromyalgia and am mostly bed bound. My leg muscles het horrible cramping pain and I found through trial and error that elevating my knees in bed helped. I also use a foam bed wedge for my head and often use heat as well. This really made a difference. I use it all the time, as trying to put a pillow or pillows under my knees was uncomfortable after awhile and the pillows slip around anyway. This works much better. it is a good size, and a good firmness--neither too hard nor too soft. It is also long enough that your legs don't come over to the sides of it and you can adjust them without falling off.

just adds a little incline ,to take pressure of back .wish this cushion was a little higher .I use it every night as sleeping with the wedge( which I also have ) is a little too much sometimes .I also find it good to put in between legs when side lying

Got this for my hubby who has severe back issues. This really helped, especially as he no longer had to worry about pillows slipping onto the floor or out of position. A little firm at first, he got used to it quickly.

this has really helped keep my knees bent when I sleep. At 5'2" it's perfect for me, but my 6'5" partner definitely finds it way too short.
