Perfect
This antenna replaced a glass mount antenna I had that worked great but would hit my garage pulling in and out. This antenna works great mainly on the 700MHz and up. Doesn't do that great on VHF and UHF, but my area is mainly in the 700MHz band anyways.

Im impressed
I purchased this item along with the associated mount that hooks onto the lip of the hood or trunk. I wanted something better than what I purchased from a local electronics store that I am sure everyone has heard of that was not that great and most importantly easily visible I wanted something low profile so I purchased this one. I have this hooked up to a portable scanner and just let it hank out the rear hatch. As to the performance, I am picking up public safety depts. and other stations I did not pick up before and I just have this hanging above the hatch. If I just leave this inside the car by the rear left window I do ok, I pick up 50-80 percent of the radio traffic I would if I had it on roof. Definitely I would purchase again.

Nice little antenna
Was a little smaller than expected but after install really like the low profile look. Picks up radio traffic well and clear.

Good antenna choice.
Nice low profile antenna, works as good as the bigger ones and no noise.

Don't bother
Given my experience with two way radios and RF, I didn't think it was possible for this to work. It didn't. Unless you only want to listen to 800 MHz or T-Band UHF, don't waste your money. It wouldn't even pick up the local NOAA weather frequencies.
