It just works, I like that
This is the 3rd device I tried for a wireless headset to use with my company's Cisco VOIP softphone. I also tried other Plantronics devices like a Discovery 975 and a CS50 USB, both had problems with either call clarity or had quirks that caused me to miss calls. The Voyager comes with it's own bluetooth dongle, I do mean just it's own because it can't be used to connect any other bluetooth devices. It also works very well with my iPhone 5s. It is a bit large and therefore cumbersome to look at. It does give you the appearance of being hearing impaired since it looks somewhat like a hearing aid. It is comfortable enough to forget you're wearing it after a while. The noise cancellation works very well. I had a smoke alarm go off during a call. I could barely hear, but the folk on the conference call asked what that humming noise was, they barely heard it. I like that it displays the headset charge level in iOS. Calls from either the softphone or mobile are clear and loud enough for me at one step below max volume. It comes with a neat little carrying case with it's own battery to recharge on the go and extend battery life to 2 days of frequent use. It's a good buy and does what I need both as a VOIP and a mobile headset. It is pricy for a BT headset, but for a business class wireless headset for telephony it's a bargain.

Comfortable & convenient
I've had this headset for five months now, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's my first wireless headset, so I can only compare it to wired headsets, but I've been using it almost every day for the past 5 months and have never once regretted my choice. My favorite aspects: - Very comfortable. My ears are really sensitive -- even wearing certain earbuds too long will start to make them sore -- but this is light and comfortable enough that I can wear it for hours without issues. - Clear audio quality. I've never had anyone complain that they can't hear me -- and the audio coming is also very good. - Very convenient for travel. The travel case is very sturdy and holds a charge for a long time. It charges with a regular USB cord, so I can just bring one cord for both my phone and the case -- reduces the number of chargers you need to pack. - Unobtrusive. As a woman, you can't even tell I'm wearing it if I have my hair down. Only qualms: - Delay on the mute. If you're on mute on a conference call and need to quickly unmute yourself to answer a question, there is a lag between when you hit the mute button and when other people can actually hear you. - Physically, the volume button and the power button feel similar. You need to memorize which one is which, so you don't accidentally turn the headset off when you want to adjust the volume. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. - Not a huge range when you're connected via USB to the PC. I live in a two-story home with my office on the second floor. I can go down to the base of the stairs and still have a clear connection, but if I start wandering around downstairs, then the connection gets weak.

Great headset
I would love this product if it worked properly the first time and I didn't have to send it back. After a couple of weeks of usage the product failed. It wouldn't charge or sync with my laptop. I was determined to either find a fix or send it back because I shelled out over $100 for an earpiece. I went onto the Plantronics website. I plugged the charging device that came in the box into my laptop and downloaded new software for the headset. After that the headset worked with my phone but it no longer synced up with the computer. It worked fine with my iphone 5. I decided to send it back since the main reason I bought it was for making calls through google chat so I can save my minutes. I still had time left from my purchase on Amazon to send it back. Within a couple of days a new one arrived. It worked great for a little over a month than again it stopped. I was pretty distraught. I use the headset all of the time and absolutely hate holding a phone to my head. The problem I found was my phone was saying the device had close to a full charge when in realty it was completely dead. I tried charging the device with my car charge and got enough juice for a few calls. Then it died completely. I charged it overnight and it wasn't working. A couple of days went by. I started looking for another headset. Then I tried one more time to charge it. The device comes with three different ways to charge. I used the 'docking' charger that flashed a bluelight. When I placed the headset onto the magnetic charging slot I noticed the light on the charger and headset turned red. I realized you have to make sure the headset is really locked into place so it can charge properly. I made sure the light on the headset was blinking every so often. I charged the headset for about 90 minutes and it worked again. Anyway it's been a couple of days and the device is working great. We will see if this holds up. Other than the charging issues I like the functionality and comfort of the headset. I made my boss buy this headset since he also spent so much time on the phone and especially while driving. Most of the time people can hear me fairly clearly. I also like listening to news and podcasts on it. The 'say a command' function doesn't work too great with the headset but the sensor features do. If I put on the headset it answers every time. I also signed up for one free year of the voyager app. It's a number I call that will read my emails to me if I wanted it to. It works fine but I've only used it once.

Versatile Headset
I have only used this headset for 5 days, but it has delivered better than expected. I did a lot of review on these headsets. There were a lot of options and I was a bit overwhelmed. I went to an external website that showed the differences between the Plantronics headset. I choose this one because it was compact, flexible with multiple devices, wireless, and had the capability to work with Microsoft Lync, which I use at work. I like that I can keep this device in its case and keep in my purse. It was recommended that you should get a headset that has an arm microphone, but it provides better quality. I synced it with my iphone 5s, my blackberry bold, my ipad air and my HP laptop. It does not sync with my landline phone, which there was products out there that did, but I didnโt have that need. The nice thing about this headset is that when I make a call on my bberry and then want to use for my iphone, I do not need to do anything. It automatically switches. When I am at work, I listen to iheart radio through the headset, but if my phone rings, it automatically cuts off the music. If I take the headset off my ear, it automatically stops. I take a lot of calls in my car and I had my husband check to see if he could tell I was in the car and he said no. I even turned on the windshield wipers and he couldnโt hear it. I tested to see how far I could walk away from my devices before it cuts off and it was about 40 steps for me and that was through walls. This device has a mute button, which is great so if I have my device in my purse or I am a few feet away from my devices, I can mute and unmute with ease. The only nuance of this device is that I noticed that my ear hurts a bit when I wear it all day. I did look at the over the head headsets, but it would have been too bulky for me. So I have been changing the ear that I wear it on midway through the day for relief on my ear. I would recommend this headset if you have multiple devices and want to use with Microsoft Lync.

The device does not understand me as well as Cortana does.
The device does not understand me as well as Cortana does. Wow that kinda sounds wrong lol. The seller was quick on delivery. Device performs a little less than anticipated but my anticipations are a little on the scifi side of things.... It works Works well, but won't pair with all bluetooths, or is it blueteeth?, laptops. It comes with the dongle bluetooth adapter which is easy enough to plug in and install. Cortana understands me better than the device does. That just sounds a little wrong. It doesn't really fit snugly into my ear but it isn't loose or obnoxiously poking me either. The sound is quite clear on both ends. Music is a little on the muffled side. Miss a lot of the highs. I suppose that's not a bad thing for an earpiece though. Edit: Have had device for a while now. It still won't charge on the PC. It will charge in it's case and plugged into a wall in it's stand or charger. Tried registering the product on plantronics site and they will not accept the receipt that Amazon provides as an acceptable invoice. Because of which they will not accept a warranty return. I've emailed them as well and have received no response. No way would I buy another Plantronics. Not worth the hassle or the cost.

Great Headset with Great Features
This is an excellent product. I'm in consulting, I use Microsoft Lync for business calls and conference calls when I'm at my office or at home, and I use an iPhone 5s when I'm on the road. This headset connects flawlessly to both PC and iPhone wherever I am, and the voice quality is great, even on my home WiFi. I like the 'switch' for on/off (vs. the soft toggle) so I know if it's on or off at a glance. The Smart Sensor works fine so far (big improvement over the Voyager Pro HD!) with my iPhone. There are 4 separate control buttons/switches on the headset, so you don't need to remember crazy combinations of what to push for mute and other features. The package I bought has a hard case that's also a charger, and all the parts all snap in magnetically so it all has a good 'feel' to it, and it's easy to deal with when you're moving from place to place, putting things away and getting set up in a new spot. Updates and configuration are easy through the online Plantronics updater. One key piece of advice: SAVE the micro USB adapter cable! It's not marked 'Plantronics', so tie a yellow ribbon around it, because when you want to update the headset you'll need the cable from Plantronics that comes with the unit. I've tried to update with other micro-USB cables with mixed results. Net: Well worth the $$$.

A very good investment for busy people
My first impression on the Voyager Legend was that it was probably overpriced. After all what could this product offer that I couldn't already do with my (very) old Motorola H350? The more I looked into it however, the more I discovered that the reasons I didn't use my "old standby" included things that the Legend (and newer Bluetooth headsets) had actually improved upon. Things like comfort, ease of use and sound quality at both ends. In the end I decided to go "whole hog" and go for the UC B235 product that packages the headset with a charging case, a desktop charger, and a USB dongle to enable easier system integration with desktop-based communications software. Although I didn't have much use for the latter, the package price made acquisition of the other bits worth it. As far as the Legend itself, I find it comfortable to wear for long periods (3-4 hours at a stint) during which I literally forget that I am wearing it. I was initially concerned about this because I wear glasses, but I have found that once I learned how to fit the Legend over my ear with my glasses in place, it is now a snap. The sound quality at my end is great; there is no distortion or any of the "robotic" effect that some have reported. I cannot speak for the quality at the other end except to say that I have yet to hear from anyone that they have any problem(s) hearing my voice clearly. (I can say that previewing voicemails left by me for others sound clear with no artifacts whatsoever). To be honest, my only reservation in recommending the Legend is that the headset does feel a bit fragile when manipulating or repositioning it. Don't get me wrong, it has clearly been well-engineered, but I have this nightmare about accidentally stepping on it and..., well, that would be the end of that. But these fears may be more a function of how much I paid for the device than its inherent durability. I guess we'll see... So far, I am very happy with this purchase and feel it was well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality Bluetooth headset.

My first headset
I bought this 12/2013. This was my first Bluetooth headset, so I had nothing to comapre it to. I am not sure if one should be replacing their headset every 2 years, but it looks like that may be the case. Within a year of owning it, the rubber between the back part and the front part tore, but the headset still worked, so I kept using it. It would also drop calls every now and then. The ear piece never really fit well in my ear, and it would be hard to hear the other end unless I pushed it into my ear and held it there. I do like the location of all the buttons, and I liked the mute feature. I used it a few times every day to talk to my husband for the 30 minute drive into work and after work. The battery life was great! When I first got it, I was very frustrated because when I would get a call I would say "Answer" and it wouldn't accept it. Finally I gave up and just pressed the answer button and I was no longer frustrated. I liked how it would tell me who was calling. The last four months it has been going in and out on connectivity, so I have put it aside and just used my phone itself. I tried a different headset, the SkyGenius Stereo Wireless for cheap just to get by. While driving my husband could not hear me at all due to the noise. I know the Legend headset has a lot of good reviews, but I have been debating trying the Blue Ant Q3 over buying this again. What irks me is that the technology for these hasn't changed much in the last 3 -4 years, yet Smart watches have recently come out as the new thing, and technology to the masses has improved, but I haven't seen many updated reviews on new products for Bluetooth headsets. I am coming to the conclusion I will need to update my tech every two years because everything is made to only last two years. So with this on mind, I will try the BlueAnt, and if it turns out to be horrible, and nothing new comes along, I will go back and buy this again, unless someone can convince me to try Jawbone next. :)

Great quality audio when using USB
Bluetooth has been pretty spotty with this headset but when using the USB dongle, it's been excellent. The audio is crystal clear, the unit if comfortable to wear for extended periods and the battery life is excellent. It's great that this headset is Skype for Business/Teams compatible.

Plantronics creates a winner
I really appreciate the technology and the fit. Sound is clear and consistent, unobtrusive for skype and face time calls. Charge stand is very helpful and keeps the unit ready at all times. Battery time is as advertized, I have been able to complete coaching calls as scheduled without concerns. Listeners indicate the microphone works well indicating that the clarity of sound on their end is very high. Comfortable for longer conversations with easy adjustments for sound level or mute during conversations. Great product that is proving very helpful for my work.

Good Blutooth
This is the second one of these I've owned. My last one lasted for quite a while considering I'm using it constantly. This one is working great. So far, so good!
