FocalRSB-250 10” Subwoofer for Sealed Enclosures

Used this in a custom-built fiberglass enclosure for a '13 Sienna minivan in the rear driver-side pocket in the storage area. Initially powered this with a MB QUART NA2-400.2 400 Watt 2 channel amp, bridged mono at 2 ohms, but the load was just too much for that amp to support, as it is not made for such low resistance. Still, it did well for low to mid volumes and never really got hot, it just went into protection mode to save the amp from this sub.Just installed an Alpine MRV-M500 Mono V-Power Amplifier, which does hold 2 ohm loads, and all I can say is wow! These two pair very well with one another, and the bass is quite strong for just one 10 inch sub in this very large interior of a van. The box I built was slightly over the recommended sealed volume at almost 1.1 cu. ft (specs say 0.7 cu. ft.), so a little more resonance at lower frequencies is noticeable, and welcomed!I didn't write down all the specs from testing with a sound meter and running frequency files (from Bass Mekanik and Sheffield Labs discs), but it is capable of holding 25hz linearly through 100hz!Overall, a great sounding sub, and not too pricey, time will tell how it holds up.
