Perfect little doorbell for the library I work at.

It's a nice concept but isn't as sensitive as I thought it would be. Doesn't move much when opening the door.

THIS IS VERY LOUD. I DID NOT THINK IT WOULD BE BUT IN MY BUSINESS I CAN HEAR THEM WHEN I AM IN THE 3 ROOM

I bought this because we needed some type of door alarm to let us know when we had customers if we are working in the back room, but we wanted to keep the old-timey authenticity of the historic building. The bell was the same color as the original door hardware, so I gave it a try. It was easy to install - just 2 small screws - and I didn't have to pre-drill any holes. The bell looked pretty dainty, but it is loud and clear. It fits the decor seamlessly, and I love the feel it brings.

Bell is improperly mounted to strap and is unable to vibrate/ring. Too small even if it did work. I would expect to buy this at Dollar General and not pay more than .20 to .25 cents. This is the worse purchase I have ever made on Amazon.

This bell is just what I needed. It was loud enough to hear at the back of the office when someone came in. It screwed right into the wood door and is sturdy. Well worth my purchase

I bought this sort of as a joke. After installing it, I was more than pleased with how it wistfully reminded me of entering a small friendly shop. Every time I open the door now, I get that same friendly feeling.And it's just as much fun as I expected.
