HIVIZ XD2014 Springfield Armory XD Interchangeable LITEWAVE Front Handgun Sight

Pros: affordable, more visible than the factory sight postCons: highly difficult to install, not very bright unless it is exposed to direct lightThis is a decent product for the price, but it is not highly visible unless a direct light source is hitting the fiber optic tube. Additionally, getting this thing installed is a total pain. The XDM is not friendly when it comes to sight removal and you have to be careful as to avoid breaking either the old sight or the new one during installation.

Spent hours research and these are the sites that I chose why did Nite Glow not in my budget but these were did not install son showed up and gave me a killer set of night Glow do you know which ones I installed these sites are a good value I’ll save you some research if nite Glow is not in your budget

Did what I wanted it to. Easier to see than Factory sights

This is a great product. I took it to a gunsmith for installation, as the Springfield XD line are known for having difficult to remove front sights. The sight comes with a green rod, a red rod, and a white rod. It also comes with a little keychain tool that holds the spare rods and is used to replace the rods on the fly. I really like that I can easily switch out the red rod with the green rod and so on. I typically use the red, as I shoot outdoors and it shows up better in the green environment of NC. The sight does a great job of collecting light and shows very brightly.

The metal they use is really soft compared to stock XD sights.XD sight gap is known for its crazy tightness, and when pushing this sight in the metal worn out scrapped like butter, its also bent for about 10degrees as well.Ended up applying force above to make sure it sits in

Ordered this sight for a 3.8" XDM 9mm. Had a gunsmith remove original sight and install this one. It performs very well. The optic colors are extremely easy to change out with the provided tool (which also doubles as storage for the extra fiber optic tubes). One great thing is that it comes with the solid white tube so if you decide you don't really want the glow of the dot on that particular day, you can throw the solid white dot in and it's back to an almost stock looking setup. For as cheap and easy as these are...I say go for it.

Love the optic (red dot really stands out), but the sight just sheered off today at the range. Bought 14 months ago and warranty is 12 months. Not a happy customer! Low quality POS. Will replace and take my chances with Truglo.BTW, like everyone else said, it is a PITA to install on XD9, so you probably need a gunsmith. Also, if you have an XD9, I highly recommend replacing trigger with one from powder river precision.
