Really surprised at the quality of the mineral powder. It had good coverage. Makes my face very even toned, matched perfectly with my skin tone (was worried about the shade- sometimes you just don’t know what you’re going to get. Could be too pink or washed out or too tan for you.) I got beige. Which is usually in my color tones but I feel like I’m more fair lately than before. I haven’t been wearing makeup consistently, even rarely for a couple years now. So my point being, that I prefer a natural look but also wish to have that pretty smooth complexion that actual makeup/liquid gives.The mineral felt good on my face. It was easy to use and spread. It seemed like it went on without showing much of anything but as you finish and it sets in (couple minutes) you have that glowing complexion you wanted. Seems like mineral makeup does that. This stuff doesn’t look cheap powdery. Appears more like a light liquid as far as coverage. I haven’t used the bronzer yet but the blush showed much better than I expected without really looking like you definitely out blush on for color. Wasn’t sure how the blush would show since the color seemed close to beigeish. But happy with how it came out! Soft light blush tint!I’m pretty happy with my purchase. I was worried I’d regret going cheaper on price and ending up with a bad quality product. But it’s not. And though the containers are pretty small, a little goes a long way. And it is a “starter” kit as it says and specifies the ounces. I’d happily buy their refills!For consumer comparison: I’m almost 33yo, I have a under 2yr babe and one on the way. I really wanted a natural, chemical free, environmentally friendly makeup that made me feel good about myself- not the exhausted pregnant mom that I am!!! ;) Got what I wanted 100% HAPPYNote on the customer service side: It was shipped USPS which can end up bad and it did. My item was out for delivery and then somehow never made it anywhere past the truck. Just disappeared and they kept saying there were no updates, sorry your package is running late. I emailed the company through Amazon app and they responded quickly and pleasantly. They were very willing to see what happened and take action immediately. They followed all steps with USPS that they needed and quickly resent me my entire order expediated, when USPS didn’t respond. I had my replacement order very soon after starting the first email. Happy about that. The emails were professional, friendly, and caring. Thank you for that!

Just got it today and tried it right away! I only used the foundation and finishing veil and to my surprise it held up pretty well. I have acne and acne scars so mineral foundation is my go to since it doesn't cause me to break out. After an 8 hour shift my skin didn't feel like I was wearing makeup and I wasn't all shiny and oily (well, compared to other brands this didn't cause so much shine).This is a starter set so note the amount is small (in case some didn't read the description). I think I will buy the fuller sizes and eyeshadow kit on their website because the colors and beautiful and complimented (even matched my skin) very well. I also love that it is a natural product. They are sample sizes and a small foundation pot. I'm happy to try the small sizes rather than a larger size just to see if I like them . I'm about NC42 this was an OK match (I'm reviewing dark tan shade). It's a little light but not way off. Overall I'm enjoying the foundation. I find the coverage good & easy to build. Undecided about the finishing & veil powders. Blush & bronzer are not my cup of tea ;)Update 2017Finishing powders were not very good at mattifying & left ghost face cast on my skin. Definitely wouldn't buy them.The foundation is just a little pale for my skintone. I don't want to buy another shade and mix them because I don't love the product. It's OK, not great. I won't repurchase. But I am glad I tried the sample kit to judge for myself

Wow really??? Ok this should say sample kit not starter kit. The blush bronzer primer and veil pots are the size of a quarter. Thats the container!! You get enough make up maybe for three days. I have gotten samples bigger than this. I gave it two stars because it is beautiful make up. I would have bought the regular kit!! I was looking at another brand and it had eyeshadows and brushes etc. With it as a starter kit!! I love the blush and bronzer in this but I truly feel ripped off. Please state sample kit!! Not starter kit. I will be buying the other brand now even though I do love the colors in this sample kit. What a shame:(

Top cakey, looks obvious, takes more than usual to cover, blush is way too light, bronzer too sparkly. And very grainy. Sorry but I'm just saying exactly what I thought of this item I did not like this at all-at all. Tons of similar products to chose from that cover softer and looks light.

Great product. I'm a big Bare Minerals fan all I have used for several years now (but hate going to the mall to get it). I gave this product a try for the price I didn't have anything to loose. Very, Very impressed and ever bit of the quality of Bare Minerals if not better in my opinion. Great coverage without the caked look and I'm 37 so need a little extra these days but don't want to look like I'm wearing 2'' of make up. Will be buying more when the starter runs out.
